Hi all,
I just bought a spderfarmer se3000 for seedlings in a 4x4 tent. Everything works great except when I try to control the light with an outlet timer. I am using a standard pin outlet timer that works fine with other lights but with the se3000, the light will shut off correctly after 18 hrs but does not turn back on when the timer has moved through the 6hr off cycle. Has anyone had this issue and do you know of a specific timer that works with the SE series? Any help appreciated!

Hmm that’s odd I run a SE3000 in my 3x3 I’ve ran it on mechanical timers, a digital timer, and now on the GGS smart controller and they’ve all worked for them, do you have a picture of the timer you’re trying to use?

Thx for the response. I actually ordered the gsc last night. I had the timer plugged into a power strip and am wondering if that might have affected things?

Only if the strip was a on a timer I think, all of my timers are plugged into power strips (most are just hardware store type power strips) you have the GCS coming so that should solve it but do you have another timer you can use to test off and back on? I was thinking you may have the light in bluetooth mode but it wouldn’t work in that way. Have you plugged something Else into the timer and let the timer turn it on to Rule out a timer issue?

The GSC is great I have the full setup still toying with it actually but it’s a sick system

Co2 is the only thing I’m having an issue with from the 4 in 1 sensor pro kit but I haven’t updated any firmware so that may be a my end issue lol

But depending on how much of it you got you basically don’t even have to walk to the tent to check it lol I know more about what’s goin on in that tent than any of my other ones that have cameras inside haha (this one will shortly lol)

You have full control of the power strip outlets and can even set them to control equipment based off tent parameters lol

Thanks for all that info! Yes, timer works fine everywhere else. Very strange. Love the sound of the gsc though and glad it has worked so well for you. Looking forward to getting it and setting it up!
