Hello,

This is my first inside, Hydro grow. I am in Coco, 3 Gallon cloth pots under a Kind 750 LED. This is day 3 of week 4 and my girls were grown from seed. Today I found a couple of spots on a lower leaf set. This one plant has also been slightly curling her leaf edges upwards for about a week. They are not curling all the way inwards, just slightly (you can see this in the photo on the edges of some of the leaves). Her color looks great, but I don't know if I am over watering or if she needs Calmag or maybe both. Given I am hand watering using Cyco Neuts, I may be giving too much water, about 250 to 350 ml 1 time per day, per plant. The PH has been set to 5.5 and the water temp is exactly 70F.

You will see the spots on the lower leaf pointing to the bottom-left of the picture. The strain is Northern Lights, Auto Flower, Fem. This is the only plant showing any spots at this time and only on these leaves. I am a worried daddy! Any advice is greatly appreciated. - Thank you!

Hope this helps you gauge the issue.

What medium? Looks like coco. If so bump your pH up to 5.8. What's the distance from your light. Might be your light is to close heating those leaves up too much and make them curl up. Watering with 250-350ml daily doesn't make sense. You need to water until you get about 10% run off if in coco. Also measure your run offs pH to be on the safe side. Should have it comming out same as going in.

Regarding those brown spots. Might be some splatter of your nutrient solution burning those leaves as the light hits those droplets. Or could simply be gutation with the same effect.

Also your plant looks quite dark green which might indicate you're feeding a bit on the heavy side.

Thank you Both. The medium is Coco and I haven't been watering until there is run off, which is why I knew the exact measurements. I will start watering with run off and test the PH. Thank you again very much!

Run off is just so you can push the old air and food out and in turn draw fresh air down through the roots. I used to wonder why I was getting salt build ups. Sometimes the simplest things make a huge impact. :)
