I’ve come across stem worms 20 years ago from outside grows. Such a creepy situation when you see it.Yea I had large adult Flys doing that do my leaves just smaller just and flying insects lay eggs underside of the leaves and i had a catpillar eat a few leaves then I found it in a cocoon on my plant changing to a moth , I had a hemp moth lay it's egg right in the middle of my plant main stem and a worm hatched inside the plant and ate my plant from the inside out and the whole top fall off lol growing outside the joys
