Week 6

The development of the buds aren't up to my standards, I have my theories on why they aren't up to par..but i'll address that on the next run..

The tent. Well the tent started as a shotgun grow, we had a bunch of girls that weren't going to fit into the stadium. Rather than cull them all, we decided to flower them. Not expecting much from the tent, probably will end up running the whole tent for bubble or BHO.

The tent is in less than ideal conditions, to say the least. I will definitely run the tent next round but will make some adjustments. \
Adjustments include:
-new bulbs, i ran one new and one old bulb. The difference is clear. So there will be new bulbs in the next run.
-more bulbs, currently there is only 2 tubes..i plan to connect 3 tubes for more complete light coverage.
-smaller plants, the girls were too big when they entered the tent. The size of the plants is the reason that the canopy is so close to the tubes.
-timer, our timer blew for the tent. Have been manually flipping the switch every morning and night.

week6

There were more hiccups this round than anyone would ever anticipate..along with a few that should have been anticipated, but i'm human and am still very much learning.

quick rundown
-not all clones were quick to root in the coco
-went on vacation only to come back to MALES that were mixed in w/ the other clones.
-males busted their nuts all over the place, this meant that the WHOLE room and EVERY single plant had to be treated for pollen.
-During the cleaning and search for more males the girls got too big. They then went through a severe pruning session. More than 1/2 of the foliage and plant mass had been chopped off.
-Emergency xplant due to larger size of plants, the flip would have caused rootbound in my opinion.
-They then had to tough out a very very cold snap, almost down to 49f during lights off. I feel that this had a huge impact on growth and development.
-The water temperature of the nutrient solution has been unheated throughout the grow. Thusly, it has sat at 50f on average...but there is no doubt that these girls were fed a lot colder solutions than they would like. I feel like this also has a great impact on the development and life cycle of the plant.

through all these problems, we persist and grow on...

From my end shit looks bomb!!!! Nice colors and frost. You give your plants a greencure bath/shower this late into flower? Im asking cause Im having some PM issues at about week 5 in flower and dont want to run the sulfur burner, could you explain to me what your doing with the greencure and how much to use. Thanks

Yeah, GreenCure can be used with no ill effect up to the day of harvest. So i'll wash some that have recently shown PM, let em dry one day, then chop.

Don't use sulfur bro, bad tastes..so i've read.

I just use the bottom end of the label dose.

These girls were a bit too tall when i flipped. Not a big deal, since i could always shave them legs. However, It is extra veg that was not needed. Inefficient.

GC can leave a soapy taste, at least I can taste it, sf. You must get so excited when you walk into that room. I know that when I see my ladies performing for me like that, sometimes I get so excited I do a little dance.

I originally got 4 strains...i actually think I ended up w/ 5...and a huge headache.:character0029:

but all i all, i'd say the headache was worth it. low yield, but nice smoke.
