Finally getting warm in Michigan so I'm starting my prep by chopping and tilling,and tips to help save money I'm trying to keep this a DIY project.

How many stems are you throwing in?

I would treat the soil, lime, dynamic lifter, and of course poison for those critters that love to eat roots.

Hows the water situation?

If no access to water i would start digging a dam and line it with plastic.
