Status Check on my Auto's

Type - Auto flowers
Strain - Death Star OG (2 plants) and Jack Herer (3 plants)
Medium - Soil (Fox Farms Ocean organic)
Started April 1 indoors and moved outdoors June 1
First time grower

Hello,

I am looking for opinions on my plants. I know they must be getting close to harvest but I'm still not seeing much cloudy and no amber trichomes. The plants fan leaves are dying which I hope isn't part of a bigger problem. I have been flushing for two weeks and watering everyday as we are in a heat wave right now.

One other question. I currently have my pots in a well shaded area under trees to protect them from the heat (38C 104F day time temps) this will be their third day in the shade. Should I give them direct sunlight for part of the day or just wait until the heat wave ends?

Last question. Is the process of the trichomes something that happens quickly or is it a slower process?

Those look great and pretty close to done! How are you viewing the trichomes? I'm older and have to use a digital microscope in order to see anything. One thing I do is pull a small lower bud and dry it for a day or 2 and then smoke it. It will tell you a lot!
