I am new to growing. My first grow was last year with very little knowledge about growing. I experimented and regenerated a plant (late bloomer) for the first time and it has been growing great this year. However I would like to learn as much as I can about regeneration and make it more public knowledge that it's entirely possible to do so. My question for anyone with experience in regeneration is will a plant with a root system and no leaves just a stem and roots, will it heal and regenerate with time and start producing new leaves? Of course I will keep it on a vegative lighting schedule and in correct temperatures but I am not experienced enough to know if new leaves will form. Can the stem and root system alone absorb enough light to complete the photosynthesis process?

You need to have some new growth on the stem to reveg the plant. It is probably possible to graft a clone to the old root stock, but not really efficient because cannabis grows so fast from seed.
