I Found that when i Top a plant amd let it rocover so its very healthy i would split the stem right down the middle where the plant was topped but then instantly tie it up again
Has anyone tried this because this seems to be a very high stress training method that actually works wonders just interested to hear if anyone has an opinion on this!
In my opinion it like monstercroping just a little more intense…

what do you mean when you say it works wonders?
compared to what? a clone next to it grows slower?

This does work. Never feels right IMO, unless she is into that type of stuff. I'd do a hard bend before a split, same type of result to me qualitatively. The opening of the plant to the air is what kills it for me, already do too much work to give her an open wound that I can avoid. If you're good at it and tie her back up quickly...could work well. I wonder if those little tree bandages for covering missing bark would work to keep the wound safe for the next 24/48 hours.

Give us your full run down since you have it locked in as a training tool
