Ok I can hear all you saying...just add viagara!
seriously though, with all the buds fattening up, could I have done anything differently early on to create thicker stems which would have supported the weight better?

the system I have does not lend itself to LST or even getting into it to tie plants up easily. Pain in the ass really but it does deliver the buds!

anyone with experience with any kind of additive that could help develop some thicker stalks?

Fans do a lot for thickening the stems out of neccesity. I notice a huge difference with Hygrozyme, Silica, and norwiegen sea kelp. Any one or all three of those will definately blast your stems.

Hygrozyme is out because I am running fertilizer salts which are non-organic.
Plenty of fans here as well. I will definitely try the silica and also foliar kelp on the next run.
Good advice and thanks LBZ Farmer

i use a desk fan blowing gently on my plants from day 1 and have never had any bother with thin stems.hop this helps..Ts1

Hygrozyme should still work???? It doesn't have to be organic.... you know what else might work... home and garden roots accelerator. More roots more better plant!

thicker branches can always be done by super cropping them during veg.

Plenty of nitrogen and a little breeze on them and stems should be sturdy.

THICK STEMS ANY ONE...Under Current system

Calcium, supercropping, nice breeze and healthy room!

Oscillating your way to a firmer waste line...

Lots of lateral air movement.....strengthens stalks by resistence as well as increasing the plants transpiration rates by dehydrating the leaf surface....in turn promoting more rapid water/mineral uptake, causing swelling of the stem and stalk :) IMO

Jack did you super crop?....I'm pretty sure you didn't.

BTW....those Infinite Breeze fans are sweet....any buddy seen these Dyson Bladeless Fan?....pretty sweet.
