Shes in Wk5 of flower, LSD-15 Auto strain, Miracle Grow Potting mix, Dutch Pro A+B, Big Bud, Bat Guano once a week,

Hardly any leaves on her at all, pruned about 10 over her short life, very odd, She's putting some weight on her BUT I'm always unsure when she's ready, I check her trichomes and they look clear, but the pistils are all brown, does that matter,

Should I just go by the trichomes, I think I panic when she looks brown and chop to early,

Put a good few pics up, not sure if they'll help

I think it is ready. The pics show the very beginnings of a foxtail (notice the pointed appearance of the buds... they aren't as broad as before and more pointed) as well as the color change of the buds and sugar leaves. Trichome color is another way, although I like to use a little of all 3!

I see a lot of mushrooming going on with those trichomes. They are looking very good! If you haven't looked under magnification, it wouldn't hurt. I see a lot of "sugar" dusting those flowers ... which is usually a sign of clouding trichomes and a finished or a few days from finished plant.

FIVE weeks is quick. If it's putting on weight, putting out white pistils - my theory the innards are still fattening up too and maturing . You say trichs CLEAR ..........let them babies MATURE . Yea I see the nippling - you're about there but give the trichs a few more days or a week........... Hard tight mature buds ..............just think 5 weeks is PDF ............LIKE TO SEE these colors when cured !!

Great colors!! Looks like she’s got more to offer, a lot of new hairs. I’d wait 2-3 more weeks. Don’t miss the final bulking.

I was meaning to ask about the new hairs, I've thought I was doing something wrong with them still growing in amongst the mature buds,

Will they just keep growing and start maturing?

That's a sign that your plants are still growing and filling out. Are you seeing any amber colors in your trichomes?

What type of lighting are you running. Perhaps the new hairs are on foxtailings (as previously suggested) which will mature on top of already mature buds. If checking the trichomes, be sure to check older bud sites as new ones will surely be clear. I seen where a lot of hairs turn red way before the plant was done. My understanding is that the hairs can mature early by environmental factors such as foliar feeding, touching them or intense lighting, etc.

I'm using a 600w Phlizon LED, I also add a Neillio UFO 150w Grow Light, Full Red Plant Light 660nm Spectrum when they start to flower

Thanks, the plants not the biggest, not that many buds, Can I ask "when I dry the buds do I cut that bud down and cut it into 3 for example and dry together or just have one huge bud lol"
