I forgot to mention that these pics were from last night. Will post more pics when they all pop through. Right now only 1 has reached the surface and is barely visible. The seeds are regular not feminized.

Casper Og

Bred by Archive seedbank
ORGNKID Ghost Og x Face Off Og bx1

Got this clone as a gift. I am very grateful, I hope it's as strong as I expect. I supercropped her on accident while trying to lst. That was 3 days ago, today her tops have turned up. As soon as I can get about 6 clones from her I will flip to 12/12.

Mimosa Pie

Before I head out to work I just wanted to give a quick update/word on Forbiddenseedco. I sourced these of IG due to the genetics. However theres is a lot of red flags dealing with him. There are a lot of posts on IG about him scamming people. Some are surprised to see others with their pack of beans. This has all put me on high alert! I wonder why he would even meet up face to face . Honestly I wont be doing anything unless its face to face with him, Unless these plants end up turning bunk.

All the beans have popped up and I'm not about to waste perfectly good plants. Hopefully there is some fire in here and I am worried for nothing. As of now it's a shot in the dark.

Maybe I'll end up getting lucky.

Just picked up a pack of Casper OG seeds. It’ll be interesting to see how that clone plays out for you. Think I’ll follow along.

Never heard of forbiddenseedco, but anyone who puts themselves out there is going to have haters. Then again, sometimes you just have to pay your money and take your chances. Good luck with your hunt.

I was going to actually get the seeds about 3 months ago, I'll have to find your journal and follow along for sure. I got excited when I saw that they released a Casper og cut, even more when I realized I was getting one ha.

Mimosa pie

The seedlings are doing great, their first set of leaves are starting to coming in. Watered them twice so far. I gave them calmag last feeding, they will get a mild AACT for next watering.

MAY 6TH
First few seeds popping through.

May 8th

(Day 2)
Almost all of the seeds have pushed through the soil and are pointing towards the light.
Only one didnt make it. Put the cup to the side to take advantage of space under t5. This one keeps catching my eye.

May 11th
(Day 5)

Cups are starting to dry out. Not quite there. Yet though.

May 12th
(Day 6)
First full watering for all no pics.
The one that I thought was dead made it through the soil.
Your browser is not able to display this video.

May 13th
(Day 7)
Dropped one while tending others made a spike with a bend to lift it.

May 16th
(Day 9)
Second watering calmag seedling strength, no pics.

May 19th
(Day 12)
Full pic of new arrangment followed by #20 trying to catch up to the gang. Plus a few extras.

Nice work all around. Some great sounding genetics crossed you got.

One tip. You can fill up the cups to about 1/4 inch of the cots on the seedlings after they stretch above the cup rim. Just topfill next watering. Roots will grow out of the buried stem. No downside to more roots.

For sure bro... I'm going to do it next watering so I could have it soak up my AACT. I have a bag of OG biowar I want to try out in my AACT. I cant lower light and I cant raise all the cups either. I had a feeling they were goi g to stretch. The only one that got screwed was the one I dropped. I had to fill it with more soil to hold up the spike I made. Now I can't add much more soil ....

I dont mean they look too stretched. They look great. Its just a way to make a stronger plant right from the beginning.

I do it to most every seedling and clone.

I see what you mean. Definitely a good trick.... I kept them ready just in case I was going to top off due to stretching. I'll start doing it regardless of the stretch, I'm down for stronger plants with more roots. Thank you MiMed, I really appreciate it.... I'll just top them off as soon as they are big ENOUGH from now on, instead of waiting to see if they'll tip over.

Its another tip I got from the breeder at CH9. Along with tap root up! When planting a tap rooted seed.

This is funny I haven't heard of that yet... I always try and throw them in kinda sideways. I did have a mimosa tap root poke through the soil and when I dug it up it was growing straight down.

I posted pics of seeds being planted properly here before. Do a search for which way to plant a seed and you will see only stoner forum posters ever say tap root down.

Every gardening book back to the 100 year old french book he sent me pics from show root up.

With it up it has the shortest path to the surface before it turns around and grows

down flipping the shell up through the dirt.

I have not had but one shell stick to the embryo in hundreds of sprouts now.

I will search for a pic. Give me a minute. Im supposed to be trimming 2 plants right now. Lol.

How bout that. Found the proper info in grasscity. The above pic is in the old crench gardening book i mentioned.

Now the seed will orient itself properly regardless but this method saves time and energy for the little seedling and like I said causes way less problems with the shell.

Awesome I will do my next seeds like this. I've just been making sure too plant them at the right depth and never had any issues. Planting them with the taproot up makes sense though I just never thought of it. The moment you mentioned it my brain started wondering and figuring out how it made sense. I figured they roots will always point back down to gravity and moist soil giving the seedling help in the angle in which it would shed its shell. It's crazy how just planting the sprouts wrong make it use more time and energy to pop up.

Mimosa Pie
Here are the seedlings today.
(Day 16)

I added more soil to the cups as @MIMedGrower suggested, gotta get all the roots I can for my AACT feedings. I gave them a full watering with og biowar rootpack they seem to have loved it.

The lucky 3 leafed seedling turned out to be the biggest and faster grower so far. Everything else seems normal.
