Strain Names & Artwork

Just curious... I'm an artist and was thinking of doing a series of graphic art projects that incorporate popular strain names. Is it illegal for me to sell that work due to the inclusion of specifically named strains?

Perhaps any commercial breeders lurking around could chime in on how they would feel about this??
