She made the transition to soil just fine and my buddy didn't kill all the clones, so she's doing well. She seems pretty strong... the leaves don't look sativa at all, it looks a lot like the White Rhino. You didn't give me ditchweed, did you? :rauch08:

I never grew it out, but it was given to me from a reputable source.....lets see what happens...I would imagine thin skinny leaves from the genetics, but I could be wrong....

We will see... hopefully soon. I have no idea what the parent plants look like though, so assuming thin leaves might be totally off.

I also found Blue Dream, so we have yet another Haze hybrid...

Have you been checking out some of Neville's posts over at the Mr. Nice forums? Pretty interesting stuff. SSH = JackHerer = SAGE.

I know that they all have haze and skunk#1 in the genes and I know I like all 3 of those strains. I love some good Jack. The rootbeer pheno of sage is floating around CO somewhere and it is killer smoke. Lost my contact for it.

Okay, so this strain wasn't bred in Colorado, it came from Florida, but the breeder is now living in Colorado, and the cut is being spread in the local scene, so I might as well present Southern Charm:

greenmopho both the fresh and dried shots looks like the local FLO cut going around.
whats the lineage?

Not even close. I have the Flo temple pheno, and that runs a darker hue of purple and is more blueish. The Charm is far more magenta, and the taste is totally different.

Here is what I said on another thread:

Southern Charm is Black Russian x (Jack Flash x Aussie Super Skunk). I'm pretty sure Black Russian is a cross of Somablaze's Blackberry and Cherry AK.

It is very strong purple color, but it doesn't have that "Cali purps" fake ass grape flavor. It is on the potent side, and I think personally it leans towards the hazy/tropical/sweet skunk flavors from the Jack Flash, with the Black Russian giving the amazing magenta color to the buds, and a hint of berry flavor. Its almost like a Purple Berry Skunk Haze, if one could describe a strain like that. Its interesting that the calyxes become fully purple, even without cold temps, yet the fan leaves stay lime green.

I would say it almost has a putrid vomit smell to it as well ( in a good way) Reminds me of the golden goat kinda more berry flavor though.. If you've ever had a good pheno of Jack Flash. It tastes almost identical in every way except for it has a hint of fruit of some kind..Nothing like the Flo cut going around..

vomit huh? never heard it described like that... Yea I would agree with the Jack Flash statement too, but then again JF is part of the parent stock of the Charm so it makes perfect sense!

I can't wait to run that Southern Charm for a full 70+ days and let that Jack Flash parentage shine, let those calyxes really stack and foxtail!!!!

This strain will be my submission to the Aspen Cannabis Crown...

Big ups to s2b for breeding this girl!

And just to give you an idea of the vigor and health of this cut....here are 2 pics taken at the same time. 2 separate RDWC systems. The system on the left is the KK Strawberry Cough, and on the right is the Southern Charm. Both were put in the systems on the same day, with the same nutes and beneficials. The Charms were the first ones to push roots through and the first ones to have new growth...look at the growth difference on these...

GM, I love to see your excitement and enthusiasm for the SC- she looks great, and obviously is something special. Look forward to trying her if I have the opportunity.

Anyone ever notice that Boulder County is on the same latitude as Mendocino County? And Larimer County is on the same lat as Humboldt.

ever notice how close that we all are in relation to the greatest marijuana producing regions of the world.. No coincidence plant has a mind of it's own..it's controlling where you move to be conducive to the best growing environment for it..lol. noticed that before green pretty cool observation..

Dont judge the man on his forum posts, he's got the biggest heart anyone can ask for... and the Southern Charm is definitely a rock solid strain!

Thats funny! LOL!

I'll admit, his posts can be harsh....but its hard to read sarcasm on a digital page, and its hard to judge a soul based on what I see...I think he deliberately took a break from the boards to let his anger subside....I say, just go with what Bob always said:

Ok I need some help with a flowering time on a clone I got from a local dispensary. I was told the strain is called Skinny Pineapple but I have seen it posted as Pineapple Skinny as well. But, for the life of me I can not find any info on this strain as far as flowering times, yields, etc etc. From what I have heard it is a strain originating from Boulder. Is this true? Any help here would be appreciated and if not I guess I will just have find out on my own here in a couple of weeks. :winking0067:

I have just flipped the one I have into 12-12 so if worse comes to worse I will just have to grow it out and keep an eye on it to get a flower time. Sorry if this has been mentioned already in this thread I got lazy and didn't look through all the pages.

zdisturbedz From what I remember of the skinny pineapple, it is a lot like c99, in fact it may be a pheno of c99,as there are several folks I know of out here that had original bros grimm seed stock.. I wouldn't take her before 60 IMO, if clone is same as the one my buddy grew in the FT 2000ish.

Thanks for the info funkfingers. Will definately keep my eye on it and see how it is doing around the 50 day mark to see if I should start my flush.
