I hope he is OK. He was a good dude, helping me out the way he did. He kept losing a bunch of seedlings and clonelings left and right, like his entire stock and mom's, I think. I know he is sickly, too. In and out of the hospital alot. I'm gonna have to send him a hand written letter and see if I get something Backman I miss that guy. He gave me a lot of confidence in growing, for sure.

Ok so I raised my light a few inches 3 days ago and got positive results. I slowed the damage, and those short pale ones looked like they have doubled in weight. I wouldn't have thought that I was giving them too intense light. It's a 400w hps with 400 hortilux eye. The closest plant was about a foot from the light, those short ones were over 2 ft away from the hood. I would have figured the short ones would be in the sweet spot. But everything has been problems. I'm also looking at the fattest buds I've seen on a big chipper, and it was from the size gain from me raising the light (I'm guessing. I've only had one flower half way through with the 250, then I got the 400w.) If they keep growing at this rate for at least 7 more days, then I should do twice as good as I thought I was gonna do, weight-loss.

Still slacking on building that veg box. I know I need it done bad and I'm still not getting it done. So many other things to do...

Also the short pale ones, the leaves look greener. The Epsom salt foliar didn't seem to work but a very little. Should I continue Epsom foliar feeding to help try and bring some green back to them? Every plant had about 1,000ppm run-off. I tested ppm by running tap water through slowly till I had enough in the bottom of the tray to sucks up and test. Tap water is 185 ppms.

So I raised the light to the top of the tent. I think it was just too much light in every cubic foot of space in there. The excess of light seemed to be causing magnesium deficiency, but the exact precise cause is unknown. Here is the pale plant that I've been trying to foliar feed it Epsom salts back to green
It also almost looks like some light bleaching, but it didn't happen to the top leaves, which makes me think it was combination of sucking out the nitrogen and magnesium. The closest bud to the bulb got a little burnt at the very tip. Chop is supposed to be this coming Sunday. But... I'd like for this,to fill in. Just the last two nodes there need to fill in and it will really make the wait worth it. I purposely threw them into flower less than 8 inches tall hoping for them big long solid colas. Is that still possible with all the set backs I've had?

She looks really good. I aim to have about 50w per square ft and I'm just at that now and the plants really like it. I'm also messing with "VPD" and tell you what, with this you can almost see daily growth with photos. I'm at 79F & 61%RH right now and its doing great. With this you will need to have very good air flow because with higher RH comes possible mold so you gotta be on your toes. What was your temps and all that at?

Temps are always comfortable but it's always more on the dry side. I've been thinking about the video, maybe if I can slow down transpiration a little bit maybe the problems I'm having will stop. It's always comfortable in the tent. I'm thinking I need to put like a big cup of water in there to help with humidity. Airflow isn't a problem at all.

I might not be great at yields but quality is something I haven't had a problem with, except for a couple plants I harvested way too early. They were more like a speed buzz than any type of high or stone.

I put a tall clear glass vase of water in my tent to hopefully raise the humidity slightly. I think it's a little dry down there. I wanna know where these piss Flys come from, there is a pipe from a house humidifier unit that just runs to the drain in the floor. Well anyways, long story short they are everywhere but my tent pretty much. I think me doing a good job of letting my pots dry out before watering has kept them from laying eggs, thus, not a viable place or good idea for them to settle in.

I went ahead and pulled the girls I wanted to chop tomorrow, out tonight.
I am putting them in the dark til later tomorrow evening. A good dark period. They look like they aren't drinking that much. Soil is still really wet from earlier this week. I have fungus gnats again. Fucking bugs, I swear. But I also had a spider in there that had like 3 different bugs wrapped up in webbing. It's all because of a drain pipe from a house humidifier unit.

Well, I don't know if this is terrible but can you tell what's wrong with this picture?
