In picture, three adult plants on the left are retarded, stunted growth compared to the adult plants on the right tied down for training and planted at the same time. Of the three adults on the left, the one in the back is topped.
Stunted growth chlorosis bad soil fix

Backstory. Had someone pick up soil for me, and they got the wrong kind. They brought some organic herb soil like you get for basil or whatever. I decided to use it anyway and it's been problems ever since. I assumed it was generic soil with barely any nutrients. I was wrong. It has barely any nutrients but overdosed with K. I cant think of a plant that needs no nitrogen for leaves and that much K. Maybe it's just a way to get rid of waste salts by putting it in generic potting soil. But anyway...
Stunted growth chlorosis bad soil fix 2

Started noticing yellowing of the leaves, chlorosis between the veins. Then stunted growth. Then noticed the nutrients in the crap they sold as soil for plants. The 2 bigger ones on the right were flushed out some but the tapwater here is hard (3) and has a pH of 7.4 but it does contain some calcium and traces of other stuff too. So I started adding 2 or 3 ml of white vinegar to the normal feeding water to get the pH between 6 and 6.5 blind. I have no test meter for water. Started adding some diy calcium magnesium water once about a week ago. Did a foliar spray with diluted fish mix, followed by a vitamin b foliar spray. The 2 on the right were up potted but with biobizz lightmix on bottom and sides. So the ones flushed and up potted with more blank soil are doing a little better but are not 100% healthy. Still pale with chlorosis especially on the older growth, up top is getting a little darker green. Leaf tips curled down on the more sativa plant, also tips going a little brown. Tips starting to brown on all of them.

It's a little crowded right now, going to be moving stuff around soon. Fabric pots are lifted off the ground sitting on a grid where I place a weak fan to move air under the pots for about 8 hours a day.

I'm starting to mix the tapwater with 50% dehumidifier water to get a better pH.

The 3 adults on the left are still retarded, stunted, with droopy leaves most of the time. I'm not sure what to do to save them. Maybe repot them ? Soak the roots and soil and try to break away some of that crappy soil? Or just up pot them like the others?

I'm at the point where I may skip biobizz nutrients right now and get a 4-1-2 mineral fertilizer for immediate uptake rather than waiting for biobizz to break down into something useable.

Suggestions are welcome.

Few more reference pictures. No bugs or anything else. Just some kind of nutrient problem.

I had the 4-1-2 mineral fertilizer in my hand. Was reading the label. Keep out of reach of children (me sometimes) keep away from pets, wash hands after using product. Wash after skin contact... if it gets in your eyes... blah blah. Thought about my dog, my eyes. I just walked out not buying it. I have enough stuff to work this out. I looked this morning and the 2 I have treated with blind Phed water (2.5 ml white vinegar per liter if anyone needs to know), added soil (light mix) and they are doing better.

The sativa in front is greening up, getting darker green. It's a real warrior. The breeder did a great job selecting strong parents. The hybrid behind it is doing a little better...not so much chlorosis as before, and has gotten bigger over the past couple days. Compared to the stunted and pale green siblings that seem to be frozen in protest.

I turned off the LED and just used flash, which shows the colors better. I'm learning that the LED even on the lowest setting is not good for photos. You can see the dramatic difference. I will spend some time trying to help the others now. Mixing in the light mix soil is bringing that K overabundance down, allowing other nutrients to be taken up. Keep on with the diy pH, calcium magnesium solution, fish mix. Almost wrote fix mix. Then soon they will have plenty of space to flourish.

Since the 2 females responded by getting healthier. I repotted the others. 1 I soaked in water and massaged the soil away until it was about half the soil gone, and put dry soil under and on the sides. The other 2 I cut away some soil and roots on the sides and bottom maybe 20% and put in dry soil in the gaps. I didnt water any of them in. I'm sure they will all be droopy and sad for a few days. I will do a light watering tomorrow. I'm curious to which technique works out the best.

You tell me. What's in the picture? Can you recognize it?
Itโ€™s honestly hard not to question your comprehension skills here. The question wasnโ€™t about identifying the plantโ€”itโ€™s blatantly obvious itโ€™s Cannabis with glaring deficiencies. The point was whether youโ€™ve ever successfully grown marijuana before, not the type of plant youโ€™re attempting to grow. Maybe focus on actually addressing the question instead of sidestepping it entirely.

Actually it's not. Some new grower posted 3 threads in a row asking what's wrong with his seedling. So I responded 3 times asking if he ever grew a plant of any kind before. It's important to know if he has any experience with gardening or not to be able to help him in a way he understands. The low brow asking the same question to me thought it was an insult to the kid. But your psychic abilities are failing, so I dont hold it against you. Yes I was experiencing some deficiencies on some plants because of too high K in garbage soil that was handed to me. The only way to fix it was to dilute it with more soil of the right qualities or remove as much soil as I could. So that's what I did, and now the plants are looking healthy again. There really isnt a way to flush that much K out of the soil as time ticks away. Anyone can grow a plant in good soil. Not everyone can diagnose and fix a problem in soil. I posted in case anyone knew a trick to help the situation, but there really is nothing else to do to fix it than what I did. Any extra K left in the soil will actually be helpful when flowering is initiated and the plants needs shift. But nice try.

Your response manages to combine arrogance with stupidity. Repeating the same question three times to a new grower doesnโ€™t demonstrate patience or helpfulness. And trying to blame โ€œpsychic abilitiesโ€ for misunderstanding your approach is nothing more than a poor attempt at deflection.

As for your soil issues, the fact that you accepted โ€œgarbage soilโ€ and had to scramble to fix it hardly showcases expertiseโ€”it highlights careless planning. Claiming that โ€œanyone can grow a plant in good soilโ€ is laughable when your plants were stunted due to poor choices you made.

Your justification about high potassium being helpful during flowering is irrelevantโ€”it doesnโ€™t erase the initial mistake of using bad soil and then looking for advice to fix it. If you were truly confident in your methods, you wouldnโ€™t need to ask for help.

Last time I responded to Rebel, mod said I was being mean as he was probably bipolar or dementia, so I should eat his ๐Ÿ’ฉ.

Enjoy the company ๐Ÿคฃ

Oh, you know it's only a matter of time before he starts obsessively analyzing the "gender reveal party" for plants that will more than likely herm due to stress. Will there be confetti? A tiny plant ultrasound? I can't wait for the inevitable debate over whether they're male, female, or both.

No they're all retarded looking, just like the person who grew them! ๐Ÿ˜†

No Shit! Really? ๐Ÿคญ๐Ÿ˜†
I assumed it was generic soil with barely any nutrients.
Because you're a dumbass and don't know what you're doing!
I was wrong.
Fact! You're a Dumbass!
It has barely any nutrients but overdosed with K.

Started noticing yellowing of the leaves, chlorosis between the veins.
๐Ÿ‘€ Really Bro? Tell me more!! ๐Ÿ˜
Then stunted growth.
๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ‘€ uh huh!

๐Ÿ˜‰ yeah that should do the trick!
So I started adding 2 or 3 ml of white vinegar to the normal feeding water to get the pH between 6 and 6.5 blind.
Gotta add vinegar if Mom wont buy you PH Down! ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ‘
I have no test meter for water.
I kinda figured you have no money! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†
Started adding some diy calcium magnesium water once about a week ago.
๐Ÿง Confirms the above theory! ๐Ÿ˜†
Did a foliar spray with diluted fish mix, followed by a vitamin b foliar spray.
I bet your plant's hate you by now! ๐Ÿง
The 2 on the right were up potted but with biobizz lightmix on bottom and sides.
Okay? ๐Ÿง
So the ones flushed and up potted with more blank soil are doing a little better but are not 100% healthy.
I would assume not! ๐Ÿ˜†
Still pale with chlorosis
๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Yeah your plants hate you!
especially on the older growth, up top is getting a little darker green.
๐Ÿ˜Ž yeah bro? ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿง Genius!!
I'm starting to mix the tapwater with 50% dehumidifier water to get a better pH.
๐Ÿง Absolute Genius bro!
The 3 adults on the left are still retarded, stunted, with droopy leaves most of the time.
Just like you! ๐Ÿฅด
I'm not sure what to do to save them.
I'm sure you've heard that many times in your lifetime! ๐Ÿ‘€
Maybe repot them ?
๐Ÿ‘€ yeah! Duh! and then give them plenty of water and vinegar! Can't forget the vinegar bro! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Soak the roots and soil and try to break away some of that crappy soil?
Duh! With bath water my man! Everyone knows that! ๐Ÿ˜†
Or just up pot them like the others?
yeah like all your other failures before this!
I'm at the point where I may skip biobizz nutrients right now and get a 4-1-2 mineral fertilizer for immediate uptake rather than waiting for biobizz to break down into something useable.
Definitely Biobizz's fault! ๐Ÿ˜‰

the guy brag all days about basic and advanced botany mechanisms, then do the most basic mistake going with cheap random soil ... i was thinking he was so great with botany that he should know that not all soil are best suitable for all plants ยฏ\_(ใƒ„)_/ยฏ

good luck with your plants anyway ...

CaClยฒ
yeah i just did a quick search about caclยฒ use for plants ... i was thinking he was using that for it's diy cal mag, but doesn't seem appropriate at all... it's still not clear to me why he linked that label with twice different concentrations of calcite and calcium chloride in relation to what he was saying ...

Looking suspicious af with the store's Asset Protection closely watching you! ๐Ÿ˜†
Was reading the label.
๐Ÿ˜† I'm sure you didn't comprehend anything else but the Warning label.

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ Knew it!

Because you didn't want to get charged for shoplifting.

Unlike you ๐Ÿ’ช
The breeder did a great job selecting strong parents.
Please do the breeder a favor and let them remain anonymous ๐Ÿ˜†
The hybrid behind it is doing a little better...not so much chlorosis as before, and has gotten bigger over the past couple days.

I wonder when he's going to figure out that CaClยฒ is ice melting salt
i really searched hard on the net why he's using Calcium Chloride with his plants. can't really figure ...

only site claiming that's it's good for plant i found was a site selling anti dust, anti ice for road and concrete...

found a study that say small apllication could help some plant resist drought stress.
found another study saying road application in winter has an impact on some species growth and mortality rate

amongst the many uses of calcium chlorides. wikipedia list.

- that before the 50 was used as an herbicide and has an impact on soil bacterial life
- it's used with concrete swimming pool to adjust ph because it reduce erosion

not much about any plant uses within the list ...
