Stupid newbie question 24/0 to 18/6 in a day?

Hi guys



Do i need to be carefull switching my seedlings from 24hr light to 18 ?

If I do it slow it won't mess with them will It?

I tryed looking it up but I don't have time to sift right now

seedlings aren't as affected as cuts when the time of light gets shorter all the sudden. Your fine

So how do I do it with the cuts?

Cuts should work the same way, I transition mine out from 24/0 to 18/6 all the time without any issues. As long as you are under 12hrs in your dark period you should be fine, unless you are running auto's. If you are really worried you could probably cut out an hour each day until you hit the 18 mark but I have never had an issue with just dropping them into the veg room at 18/6....I use 24/0 to root clones and germ seeds. I always make sure to drop them in at the beginning of light cycle rather than the rest period...not sure if it matters but it's just the way I've always done it.
