Yo, what's going on fellow farmers? I decided to start this grow up so the homies can see what's going on and so that I can start getting feedback from everyone.

Before we get this started, everyone throw this song up..
The Dude is the dude my dude.

I started up three seeds
1 Sage n' Sour
1 AK-47
1 Dankouver
If anyone has info on these strains, feel free to post it up here.

They were planted in Black Gold seedling soil. All 3 popped within 35 hours and took a little longer to pop out of the soil once planted, which was about 48 more hours. Right now I just have them under 3 CFL's which I actually like because they give off more heat than the tubes which is what I'll be using.

I will be feeding with Organicare's SeaPlex, CalPlex, Humega, Huvega, and ZHO as soon as they need some water. I'll be spraying with Neem Oil routinely because I am already seeing gnats. damn peat.

Bear with me, the setup is coming along slow and at the moment this closet is all I have to work with. Not expecting a large yield, but I am hoping for quality.

If you want to know any more info ask away.

Peace,
-Supa

Nice man! Black Gold should be a good start no doubt. I can see they are already looking good. Ya man gnats suck but since the plants are in small containers and are easy to move you can try setting them outside for a small amount of time and the gnats may fly away. Keep doing it! That nute line is quality. Got some ZHO myself that I can't wait to use.:character0180:

Gettin shit crackin!

First off, thanks Justice and Shady for comin through! I know I won't be steered in the wrong direction with you two aboard. and it'll be a party the whole way! I know I've been waiting too long! lol

Brewin' up a tea as we speak

6ml Humega
6ml Huvega
3tsp? ZHO
3ml CalPlex
3ml Sweet Raw
and some lemon juice

pH 6.3
400ppm

Got a new pump :) shit is tight. and word up to that man who's entire life is devoted to having a society filled with mucho verde for letting me borrow the blue lab.
http://i13.invalid.com/albums/a299/LOVERface1/DSC03808.jpg

Yah the ppm is a little high, but there isn't much in the soil to begin with so they should like it. Thoughts? Also I was wondering, as far as ZHO goes how much is too much?

Yo dude that should be a pretty solid pump. Should last you well over a year. Nice I see you are using that blue lab. That is quite a nice pen indeed. As for the PPM it might be a tad high as you stated. I think the seedlings look well fed. If I were you to be safe I would dilute that tea to about 1/2 strength(300ppm). You can always up the strength later, but if you burn em now there might be no turning back. But that soil is pretty light so they may be able to take 600.

As for the zho I don't think one can really add "too many" beneficial's, but It's probably better to introduce them consistently over a period of time instead of dumping a whole package into one application.

Yah I was thinking the same thing so I ended up diluting it a little to about .8 EC so that's still a little higher, but hopefully they can take it.

Yah I did the recommended dose I was just wondering if most people tend to go over or what, ya know?

Very excited for this thread. A hommie of mine from the city just rolled through with some Sage 'n Sour buds that were off the chain; pronounced sativa effect and a great fragrance. Did you cop yours from TH Seeds? Dude 'SnS' seems to be jamming out on the Sage 'n Sour, down to his SN (). I've been using that EcoPlus dual outlet air pump for over a year and it's still chugging, superb value for simply bubbling nutes.

Week 2.

Watup farmers? Got an update.

Just fed 'em yesterday.

15 ml Humega
7 ml SeaPlex
5 ml CalPlex
15 ml Huvega
3 tsp ZHO

They're still getting going, there was a little twisting in the beginning, but the new growth is looking good. I had to bring the pH down a lot this time lol squeezed about two whole lemons in over 24 hrs. I don't know if that's normal or what, but we'll see. It seemed like the microbes liked it because it was foaming pretty hard.

The Pure grow was kind of weird. Smells a lot like fish food. The tea itself actually smelled exactly like sea water. weird.

feedback would be much appreciated :)

Quick update:

I will be adding Roots Excelerator to my feeding schedule. Got some samples at the San Francisco Indoor Gardening Expo. Shit was hella fun and I came up on a lot of new products to try out. Lots of beneficials being handed out. I also got a smart pot and two roots pots so I think that's what I'll be transplanting into. I'll post pictures later.

For all you LA cats..there's another expo in a month down in LA and they hand out A LOT of free shit. Like I said I'll post pics later.

Looking green Supa! I think you will love Roots Excelurator... It's one of my best investments to date; the other is my Hanna Combo, waterproof... :thinking

BTW, Sounds like you had a great time at the show. I've heard the SF Expo is top notch... I hope the LB Expo comes close. :cool

Thanks for stopping by Shady! Yah I'm really looking forward to using the Roots Excelurator, I want to transplant into those smart pots asap. The Expo was pretty legit. It was my first time going and I'm pretty sure I'm going next year. Lots of info, I actually got to speak with one of the SunPulse reps. and they gave me a free light and I got to check out some of their ridiculous lighting contraptions lol

Alright so this is to give the LA farmers a look at what might be at the Expo down there..and for some discussion topics lol

Gorilla Grow
I actually took this from their website :surprised
http://www.buygorillagrow.com/howitworks.php
LMSR™ is a soil-less amendment containing mycelium. Mycelium gives soil, porosity, aeration, soil nutrients, and provides a platform for diversifying life forms. As mycelium decomposes organic matter, it releases heat (thermo-genesis), water and carbon dioxide into the soil which allows plant life to flourish and at the same time improves the humic value of the soil. Soils with high humic values tend to produce plants with high resistance to diseases and high nutrient values.
By adding LMSR™, to your crops or plants, you will see an increase in overall health, improved water and mineral uptake, substantial increase in root development, increased plant yield, and an accelerated maturity (without adverse effects) unlike anything else you have ever used. One of the key factors is that the mycelium releases nutrients into the soil that it is placed in through a process known as active transport. Active transport allows for the plant to receive more nutrients at the cellular level through the process of chelation.

Quick little plant update only because I want to know if anyone thinks something is wrong. I guess the leaves on the Dank and AK are troubling me..they haven't grown in 24 hrs. while the SnS has continued to grow. I'm giving it a day before I decide to do something, but any input would be cool.

Lovin' the big update! Damn I want that H&G starter kit too... BTW, I really like Smart Pots and wasn't too impressed with the Roots pots and their stitching, but maybe it doesn't really matter as long as they can be reused. And I wouldn't stress too much about the seedlings as they all look great... Diff strains have diff growth patterns... :thinking

H&G definitely hooked it up. I was feeling the same way about the roots pots. The stitching is out in the open, I guess they figure you're filling it with soil so who cares.

I didn't even notice that until I read your comment and I immediately went and looked at them and I'm pretty sure that was just the way the lights were hitting them because they don't look like that lol weird though it tripped me out. I'll take pictures later though. good catch and thanks for checking out my journal!

Just fed 'em:

1 Gallon
1.1ml Roots Excelurator
1 cup EWC
1/2 cup Gorilla grow
2 tsp Dino Grow
3 ml Sweet Raw

6.4 pH
1.0 EC

I only brewed this tea for about 2 hrs. The microbial life in the Gorilla Grow is just undeniably potent and I really wanted to give them the Roots Excelurator, so I just fed them tonight. They were pretty dry anyway.

Compared to the previous posts, those last pics really look like the leaves are upside- down, cray but I have no idea what would even cause that, hot temps maybe?

Can't believe all of the stuff you scored from the Expo, hella more swag than the Cup! I definitely need to hit it up next year. That Gorilla Grow looks and sounds ridiculous, please let us know if you notice any pros/cons.
