Those seedlings are looking great man! If you look back on your last update they have grown quite a bit. No need to trip about the leaf growth and whatnot. Just let them do their thing they will come up when they want. It's really quite hard to try and look at how much growth has happened in 24 hours. I would suggest taking a picture and then taking that same picture type a week later. You will truly see the changes that way. If anything they could do with a tad N, but that could just be the lighting.

Nice come up on the expo nutes mang! Definitely worth going to no doubt. I went their myself and got some great stuff too. Funny how last year it was free entry and this year it was $10 per person. Well I suppose it's definitely worth it considering the value of nutrients one can get.

Compared to the previous posts, those last pics really look like the leaves are upside- down, cray but I have no idea what would even cause that, hot temps maybe?

Can't believe all of the stuff you scored from the Expo, hella more swag than the Cup! I definitely need to hit it up next year. That Gorilla Grow looks and sounds ridiculous, please let us know if you notice any pros/cons.

It's just the lighting If I'm not mistaken. I can totally see how you think they look upside down, but If you really take a long hard look you can tell they are just perked up normal leaves. Maybe you should get some different angles next time supa.

Yah the growth just alarmed me because it was like a sudden change in the growth. They were pumping out one new set of leaves every day and now its been 2 days and the leaves have not even come out all the way. Who knows, like you said we'll see the difference on Friday when I take new pics.

Yah the $10 entry fee was a little surprising. Good thing my friend let me borrow the money :damnhippie:

And as far as the leaves flipping over...yes it is the light. If you look at other leaves in the picture, especially where the light isn't as bright, you can see the regular vein. Thanks for stopping by mayn!

That's good to know seeing as I may make it all into hash depending on the yield. Thanks for stopping by!

Week 3

Watup fellas?

Got a picture update. They've been growing quite a bit. The side branches are already starting to come out, which I'm stoked about because my last seedlings took way longer to start branching out. I took the pictures outside so you can really see the nice dark green they are. I'm pretty excited about how healthy they are.

Just trying to decide when to bend 'em over. Apparently they liked the tea I gave them because I've seen a lot of growth these last 2 days or how ever long it's been.

On to the pics:

Started spraying them with Neem Oil. Now they're shinin!

Damn dude those seedlings are coming up hard! They have a nice lush green tint to them. Don't know if ya do but when spraying foliage make sure to spray the underside of the leaf as well. What kind of light you using again CFL? Whatever your using it seems to be a decent light since the growth is nice and stacked.

Thanks for coming through Justice! Yah I sprayed the underside too. Last time that's where the caterpillar eggs were so Im making sure that bs doesn't happen again. Just CFL's lol nothing major. There are three of them and they are doing a pretty kick ass job.

I was wondering...when spraying with Neem oil is it okay to also add like SeaPlex or CalPlex in with it? or do you only want to have Neem in the water?

Nice job Supa! Those seedlings are growing well... Do you plan on starting LST or some other training/pruning method soon? :wondering

Thanks mayn! Yah I don't know when I want to bend them over. This will be the first time I've done LST so I'm not sure exactly when to do it. I was thinking soon, but I want them to be really bushy and not tall so I might let them get a little bigger before tying them down. I'm thinking if I don't do it soon I'll do it after I transplant.

4 Weeks.

Watup.

Quick little update. I've been noticing some problems, mainly what I think is nutrient toxicity. The plants are still growing nicely, but the leaf veins started turning purple and they haven't been as perked so I've been flushing

8/3/10
1 ml Roots Excelurator

8/6/10
1/3 cup EWC; did a light top layer and watered through
1 ml Roots Excelurator.

I decided that it's time to start paying attention to nitrogen now. The coltyledon and 'baby' leaves are starting to die off which is pretty normal and so I figured it would be a good idea to start adding Nitrogen. If I'm wrong tell me lol. I'll have some pictures up in a little while.

Purple veins..
These are the purple veins that are bothering me. This is on the SnS which is showing the def the most. Also if you notice the droopiness...lol I expect perfection from myself! Any input is appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by Smokey! I was looking back on my nutes and I realized I don't really have anything specifically for potassium, foolish mistake. and yah I was thinking a lot today about transplanting and what soil I might want to use. I think I want to get the LIght Warrior only because it's rather light and I hate not knowing when the nutrients in the soil are depleted and when to start adding nutrients. To me, drainage is more of an issue than soil ingredients.

Yah I think it's about time to transplant. I just have to set up the closet the right way which will be a pain in the ass. I want to use the light warrior because it's light and because it's easy for the roots to go through. Who knows I might use something else. Thanks for comin through!

Looking good man! They are stacking up no doubt. At first glance I would go with an N def. Maybe a bit of Mg too on that ak47 but not sure. Nothing calcium nitrate, and magnesium nitrate couldn't fix(cal mag plus). Do you have a cal mag supplement? you could use that amino aide to boost the N if you want but that wouldn't cover the cal mag side of things. Those EWC should definitely help out. They have N cal and mag, just not sure how much and mind you it's a slow release.

If I may suggest it would help if you took the pictures in daylight because I know that light makes them look more yellow then they really are. It would give us a better idea of what deficiencies are apparent.

Thanks for coming through farmers! I need to just get these guys out of these little cups. As far as Cal/mag I have the CalPlex and Huvega I just haven't fed them with it because I don't have a pen at the moment. Im really just trying to wait for my Life Light system(that I won:cool0010: ) so I can use that or get some cash to really do this up right. I need to water today so I'll try to fix these problems then. You're right too I should take the pics outside to get a better sense of the color. thanks for the tip Justice!
