I just want to be absolutely positively correct on my understanding of the instructions on the bottle.

Bottle says .25ml per liter, the barrel is 50 gallons its going into.

Do I simply times the .25ml by 50 or do I convert the 50 gallon into 189.27L and then times the .25ml by 189?

Thanks for your help.

This is how I would do it. A litre is 3.8 gallons.

therefore you could say .25ml x 3.8 is .95 ml per gallon. Makes it easy from there. You had metric and imperial blended up.

so. If it’s .95ml per gallon and you got 50 gallons.... 47.5ml.

.25 x 189 is also correct. Just different ways of doing it. 50 wouldn’t work. You need that 3.8 conversion from liter to gallon (from metric to imperial)

Thanks CF89, I had 47ml, and then I doubled checked by phoning the local hydroponic shop and she told me 12ml, which sent me into a crazy spiral of madness. Thanks again.

50 gallons = 227.3 liters .25ml x227.3 = 56.7 ml for 50 gallons

That's an American conversion and its not the product a ml is a ml north and south it's only the gallon that is different.
An imperial gallon is 4.54 liters where as a US gallon is 3.785 liters, so say the US gal to Imp gal would have a difference of 9.2 ml ( 56.7ml imp / 47.5ml us), its not huge but when we are using a super concentrate it could matter. I also know I am way over thinking something so minute.
