Q: Do you calculate PPFD (umol/s/m2) to DLI (mol) when using a light?

* Daily Light Integral (DLI) is the total amount of photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) in a day. The total amount of light the plants get in a day should be more important than how intense the light is. For marijuana, the sweet spot is 43.2 DLI. The formula can be easy:
PPFD (umol/s/m2) x Time (s)x 0.000 001 mol = DLI (mol)
Hence you can go to the manufacturer's PPFD map and pull as best you can from the results.
