Zill the fact that you continue to double and triple down on bad info just amazes me.

Research the Emerson effect and come back here and say nothing above 700 effects plants and then I will know beyond a shadow of a doubt you are just trolling.

I’ve been saying this from the beginning 😂
I’d say let’s cast a vote to kick her off but it is fun seeing her argue with bad info and no real life cannabis growing😂

Thank you for all your opinions, ViparSpectra always listen to opinions, we have collected to ViparSpectra engineer for future light research. We will research and bring suitable for plants' growing lights to our customers. Thank you.

I am going to ask a question because I am not a scientist. But how can we get sunlight like leaf surface temperatures in a tent? Does IR help with that?

Hid and HPS is your answer there.
Maybe I should have said in a led I gave up MH and hps too many drawbacks as far as the heat they generate. Nowadays I am really getting into controlling my environment.

what temp are you getting now and what are you looking for, cannabis love 77-86F at the canopy

Yes an iR source would be required to match the iR from the sun or HPS. Just curious why you think that is important?

Yeah guys like @PipeCarver run HPS for exactly this reason. If he didn’t he’d be running a heater.
I'm thinking a hps light wouldn't be too bad for me in the winter either. It would let me get heat and have more ideal rh.

Currently with LEDs I have to choose between temp and rh, if I let the heat build up by lowering exhaust speed, or on a controller, my humidity gets higher than I'd like, but I have a lot of air flow to help negate that.

HPS are awesome for growing buds. If electricity was free and didn't pollute I might still be running them.

If you have to heat the space with electric anyhow...

Do you have a dehuey bud

I have a finned heater as well that helps with rh problems.my exhaust fan is on an ink bird and reaches temp before rh gets too high and keeps it in check ranging from %46- 60. I agree with runnin hps through winter because of how much power you have to use running leds to keep temp ideal..I’m in a shed in insulated room.if it wasn’t insulated there would b no way I could run leds through winter but I can control rh better in winter here than summer..

I noticed a huge difference running the same cut indoors vs 😳 outdoor. Same inputs and completely different terps and effects.
We need a full spectrum powerful bar style light with a programmable sunrise to sunset custom ppfd maps. To simulate the different sun intensity throughout the day. To mimic anywhere on earth. Is that to much I am high🤣
