Hmmm, I definitely follow where you're going and I think we're already on the same page. There's a few caveats I've left out that surely caused the first set of cuts not to root. The two most important I think were that I just took tops, which were small 2-3 node 3-4 inch cuttings; and I simply wasn't around to mist them every day until they could fend for themselves. I usually get the same 4-6 day rooting you speak of, but most of the cuts were dry by the time I came back around. I was kinda experimenting with them under a 600w in a corner, so I definitely didn't help the situation out from the beginning.Getting your pots up off the cold floor and taking the trays out from under them cold wet roots are no good at all get air passing under the pots will improve there overall health to take flowering cuttings do the same as normal but I place white shade cloth over the closh to reduce the amount of light hitting them I did some 12/12 flowering cuts last week they rooted in 4 days .
