Defiantly don't count on it, dude. Your fluorescent ballast lacks the one ( or probably all) of the internal components needed to light that bulb. First one I can think of specifically that would make it impossible would be the ignitor. MH ballast lack the ignitor, and as such will not fire the gasses within the HPS arc.
