Switching cycle to Flower at Night

Hey guys I’m about to switch my girls to flower. My only issue is my dark period now is from 7am to 1pm. Idk why I just did it that way. Now that I’m switching to flower I’m worried about light leaks with my vents at the bottom of my tent open during the day. Would be it be best to just give them 24 hrs of darkness and turn on the light during the day and let the 12 hrs of darkness be at night? What would be best to ease this transition?

If it’s possible. Just change the timer to a lights off time that the room your in can be pitch black. Ooor you can cut of the exhaust and shut the vents and leave the fans on for the 12 hours.

It’s not on a timer. Im physically turning the light on and off for its cycles. That’s why I wanted to give it 24 hrs of darkness so when I flip it on for flower it will come on at 7am and will start the night cycle at 7pm when it’s dark outside already. So it’s easier to eliminate light leaks since it’s dark already.
