Switching Light Cycles So Close: Bad Results ?

I have my plants in a cycle of going off at 10am and back on at 4pm , if I'm wanting to put my plants onto 12/12 flower mode at 6pm or 7pm (that's only 3-4 hours diff ) will that freak them out ?

This is why I did 24/0 veg cycle compared for long . I saw the benefits of running 18/6 so I wanted to switch to that cycle so badly .

Any comments and suggestions ?

Make the change in the dark cycle... they dont mind if theres a little extra dark one day... dont interrupt the 12 hours of dark though thats where plants dont like it.
