Hey All, thanks in advance for the time.

I'm a promix HP user and I have very recently switched from liquid nutes to a salts mix (a jacks 321 offbrand called envy).

I think i get the gist of how to use the mix but it seems more and more that i would benefit from an EC reader.

Question is which one should i get.

The 3 opinions i see most in my research are

1. Pay the price and get the "bluelab"
2. Off brand like hanna or Milwaukee are just fine
3. EC doesn't require this much tech, go cheap, spend on PH reader

What do you think, Also should i be putting feed in my water every time or do a feed feed water?

Hanna or Milwaukee are not off brands, not sure who told you that....

Here is a good meter for less than $100 👍

Offbrand was probably the wrong word. Bluelab appears to be "coke" while many are happy with pepsi. Anyway, thanks for the advice, i can spend 200 on this thing for my set up you think this is the way to go?

Bluelab are over hyped they break down just the same as cheap meters, and i stopped supporting them because of there shitty customer service.

I would go with Apera instruments. Just as reliable as blue lab and 1/4 the price!
