Hi guys recently transplanted these ladies and they have gone crazy tacoing. Initially I thought it was humidity issue, then I thought it might me a mite issue so have sprayed them down.
I’m using a marshydro fc 4800 it’s 16’’ away from the top of cannopy.
Has anyone seen taco this intense?

Back the light up a bit mate like a lot they turning away from the light put it up to 24 inch at half power or less n see if that straightens your leaves out u can always slowly bring it back down once they flatten back out if less lights do not fix it be checking for thrips👍

Yep! But those leaves will be a bit beat up.
They may unfurl, but they will show mpre stress. Browning ect. As long as the new growth doesnt show it, you have fixed it.
WHAT UP JUST👊🏻🤡

I’ve put it to 36’’, have run it since the beginning at 25% power. Hopefully they recover. Thanks a lot

16 inches sounds way too close for a young vegging plant even turning the light down. Check the light manufacturer's recommendations for placement settings based on growth stage but they're not always right. Once you've had a chance to play around a bit you'll find the sweet spot. I've got a light that isn't dimmable and manufacturer recommends 22-30 inch clearance for veg and 12-16 inch clearance for flower and their recommendations are pretty much spot on for keeping plants happy. But lights all have their own specs so don't use my distances, go by what the light maker says to start and dial in from there.

Heat, low humidity and too much wind from fans are are the first place I would check. Good move to raise the light though

Hey nindjadogma, your right they’re specs say 25% for seedlings 50% for veg and 100% for flower but all at 12’’ distance. That was maybe the issue I had it too close. Hopefully they uncurl the taco

Hi grownsince95, I’ve had humidity from 65-80% since they hatched. Out here in Colombia high humidity is terrible to deal with. I was using a fan but turned it off as soon as I saw the taco 🌮. Maybe the fan was way too strong

Definitely leave the fan on in a way that doesn’t blow directly on the plants but makes them “dance” ever so slightly.

Thanks a lot, have put it to 32 inches, when will the plant recover?

What if one plant tacoed severely week 6 of flower and the one right beside it not at all ??

That means one plant is just a little bit more sensitive to the light than the other one I would turn your light down a little bit or raise it a little bit 10% get that to stop. It’s not gonna suffer your yield.
