Tahoe OG Kush Cut Variance/ Cola Variation on Same Plant?

Hey Farmers,

I wanted to post up and write this out to those whom have exp. in the Tahoe Cut, hell even if brother Swerve sould chime in...

But I have this cut and it grows fine in veg. no TMV or anything, BUT when I flower out this girl, when she really starts greasing up and or swelling, by week 5-6, I notice this strange thing, i havent seen before.

The buds, colas, bottom nugs, everything are growing, but 1 or 2 main stems get the greasy, stinky, fuely, dank that you would expect by weeks 5 and 6, whereas the rest of the plant retains a decent ammount of sugar, but does NOT develop like the 1-2 main stems. I have pics of the main stems and the progress I think the rest of the plant should be, and my second post will be the airy, less aromatic, less swollen buds around the plant.

Also note the plant hasnt been broken or tied off to limit nutrient up take, all colas are around the same stature and stregnth...

Ok and heres the other buds that wont develop like those above. The plant is at the same distance away and the other colas, not too close....idk what it could be?

Is this just a bunk/weak cut? The nugs it produces however are Tahoe, but it just sucks to only save 30% of the plant...:(

What club(if any) did it come from?

I'm thinkin you got a cut with an added gene...a partial mutant.

Give it some time, they might still catch up and be dankie.

Well I got it from a homie whos no longer on the boards...JDOGG, hope he doesnt get pissed. But naw I nver get cuts from clubs, just thru friends...you may be right on the added gene, bc i am just wrapping up on thats goin on wk 10, and it is the same result but just more mature obviously...wierd cut I guess?

I have the mature one in my journal, and her top nugs are DANK but like I said, the others are really not worth even drying, its all bubble from the middle canopy down, and the other main colas..

Hmm so I guess its just a weak, wierd cut then....? I still kept a mini mom, Ill give her another try some other time, while I look for a better cut..

people are passin around these mixed cuts, instead of the pure ones. They are just rushing through pheno hunting to get it out there or don't know what to look for. best to pop a few packs and hunt for yourself. Perhaps Cali Connection, I did and found some real keepers, and they have more vigor than an old cut and the same dankness.

Thanks for the advice Capo, but im not interested in Tahoe Seed Phenos, only the original cutting. I know that this was supposed to be the cut, which it seems to be in growth and smell apprearance, etc..but its just has this wierd mutation, as mentioned above...

The first run I did with it, I knocked a fan on it, and it broke a few main stems in the early weeks of flower; so I though that might be it. But the pics above, are from the 2nd run with cuts NOT taken from the broken plant. So it leads me to beleive that the mother, aka the cut I got, has to have some flaw in it... I just dont know what..

Its a damn shame bc, the actual dank it produces is just FIRE...hopefully I can find it again, and have all its colas and nugs produce like theyre supposed to...
