Ya, know…they could easily have said that from the get go…now there’s gonna be a bunch of people pissed off…I was in the “sure, why not” boat, so I’m not too disappointed, but I do think that was a shitty approach. Here’s part of the message I got…no mention of buy something…just “at checkout” and “cover delivery”

Yeah that's the exact same message I got. I've already replied thanks but no thanks and started popping some Grape Cream Cake × Okie beans.

Guys I'm so sorry. I specifically requested codes that would give a free pack and not require any other purchase. This was not an attempt to get you to buy more stuff or spend any money other than to cover shipping.

I'm getting this fixed today and will post here as soon as it's sorted.

Codes have been fixed. It was a technical error on the other side - they have apologised and to compensate upped the free seeds to an 8 pack instead of a 4 pack. Hope that makes everyone happy.

There was also apparently a typo on the permanent marker code, the code for that is now PERMAMARKERFREE

Single use only. If there's any more issues then please let us know, but be patient. We're doing out best for the community here.

We hope everyone's having a fairly smooth start to the week. To celebrate the introduction of Grow Diaries on the site, we thought it might be fun to run a little competition, or a 'grow-off' for want of a better phrase...

Here's how it would work: anyone who wants to take part expresses their interest here (just reply, and tag us with 'I'm in!'). After a few weeks or so (to give everyone a chance to get involved) we will get in touch with everyone who replied via DM to arrange a free pack of seeds of your choice from the site.

We would then open a window (around 6-8 months) where everyone can go ahead, begin their Grow Diary here on the site, and post updates (weekly would be fine) of their plants until harvest. After this window, all completed grow journals will be rated, judged, celebrated, with the best 3 winners posted here on the forum (prizes TBC).

Rules
- US only
- One pack of seeds per person. By taking part you agree to run the seeds within a reasonable time frame, and post consistent updates on your Grow Diary.
- We may use some of your grow content for educational or marketing purposes, but always credit where credit's due!

How does that sound? We'd love to make this into a constantly evolving, educational, and ultimately helpful thread where even those who haven't grown before or struggle to find the resources to get seeds can take part.

We're all ears for any ideas / suggestions you may have! Otherwise, if you want to get involved then reply to the thread, tell us you're in, and let us know what your potential preference would be for a seed pack from our site here:

I never ever used a credit card for seeds before does it ask you for card number? I've paid by check or cash I guess them days are gone except for a couple guys I've trusted who sell seeds.
