Thanks, a chemistry nerd is exactly who I needed to answer that question.:D Does anyone know if the molasses from the store is ok to use for this tea? If so, what amount?
I use a black strapped molasses un-sulfered at a rate of 1teaspoon per gallon, which is a lie ima keep it 100 and say I just eye ball it and poor about one cup or so in a 5gal bucket, because it feeds the bacteria and they multiply like grimlins.
I ended up using about 120 ml of regular unsulphured molasses from the convenience store, since I read blackstrap molasses is a little more concentrated. The brand was Brer Rabbit. It's been brewing for about 24 hours right now, and it's going in the garden at 8 am tomorrow. It looks like something they would like and it does smell a little, but not overpowering or anything. Anyway, I couldn't wait for an order of some bs molasses, next time. Is there always some talc powder on the bottom when you're brewing? And do you have to strain it or not necessary? I put some alfalfa in there. Thanks.
Day after day I struggle with restraint, but the hulk just keep coming out!a cup of molasses per 5 gallons?!
that is a shitload.
Does anyone know if adding Myco's into teas actually does anything. I know plenty of people do it but I have found a few sources which state that putting myco's into solution and adding to soil has not too big a chance of actually colonizing. I just wanted some opinions on this one. I just add them when i put clones into soil, and when potting up now because of the things I have read. Also, in the event that they do contact roots don't they take three weeks to actually become useful?
Is there a bat guano with mostly K.... i been lookin for that for my skunk x's
I love compost tea its like brewing your own beer
Cap you ever do your own composting and brew from your own compost??
