I've been using Organic Molasses from Whole Foods at a rate of 40ml per gallon. Mind you this is being diluted to 9 gallons after the tea has brewed.

I use a black strapped molasses un-sulfered at a rate of 1teaspoon per gallon, which is a lie ima keep it 100 and say I just eye ball it and poor about one cup or so in a 5gal bucket, because it feeds the bacteria and they multiply like grimlins.

I ended up using about 120 ml of regular unsulphured molasses from the convenience store, since I read blackstrap molasses is a little more concentrated. The brand was Brer Rabbit. It's been brewing for about 24 hours right now, and it's going in the garden at 8 am tomorrow. It looks like something they would like and it does smell a little, but not overpowering or anything. Anyway, I couldn't wait for an order of some bs molasses, next time. Is there always some talc powder on the bottom when you're brewing? And do you have to strain it or not necessary? I put some alfalfa in there. Thanks.

Blackstrap is more concentrated in the sense that it contains more of the molasses' byproduct after sucrose has been removed for use in more refined products. That is to say it has less concentration of sugars. The byproduct, however, is full of trace elements that provide various necessary nutrients for life, which is why we use it to feed the beneficials rather than just giving them refined sugar.

yeah you will always get talc at the bottom. I just unplug the airstone and let the liquid settle, then I take the tea off the top. You can pour it off and the talc will stay stuck to the bottom for the most part. Just rinse it out for the next run.

I found that the more carbs I add to anything makes everything swell. I'm going to practice using less because I know it gets to a point where the bacteria can only use so much and the rest is just wasted. I don't have pics using caps bennies because I just started using it. I will do a post with picks once I harvest some. The picks I posted here are sea of green grown with an excessive amount of carbo load. I made the buds grow buds on top of buds like steroids!

My Tea Recipe

I've been trying out a few different recipes the last few months and this particular recipe makes some bomb ass tea. It helps with flying insects and molds in addition to allowing your plants to uptake more nutrients.... I use it to foliar and weekly feeds, plants are loving it.. I brew for 24hrs total but can be used after 18hrs of bubbling.. I add the Frass in the last 12-8hrs of bubbling.

2 - 2.5 GAL of RO water..

1/2 - 1 TBS ea of Cap's Root pack, Foliar pack, Nute pack
2 TBS Vermiblend Soil Amendment.. Contains Earth worm Casting, Humus, Compost, Fossilized kelp, rock minerals & mycorrhizae..
1 TBS Earthworm castings
1 TBS Insect Frass (optional)

1/2 - 1 OZ of A1's Floravino Tea
1 TBS Humic Acid
1 TSP Liquid Kelp
1/2 - 1 TBS Blackstrap molasses(unsulphered)

Does anyone know if adding Myco's into teas actually does anything. I know plenty of people do it but I have found a few sources which state that putting myco's into solution and adding to soil has not too big a chance of actually colonizing. I just wanted some opinions on this one. I just add them when i put clones into soil, and when potting up now because of the things I have read. Also, in the event that they do contact roots don't they take three weeks to actually become useful?

mycos will only come out of stasis in the presense of root exudates. They shoudl be applied as early on in veg as possible. The nute pack also has azospirillum, frateuria, and some others that will be beneficial at any time though.

Thanks...

My bad. I have only been using it the last time I ordered when I was potting. I just reread the ebay description. I thought the first part was describing what the Myco's functions are...

dumb....

I have been looking for an organic way to boost K also. I have found some reading that suggests cannabis, during flowering, needs to keep N up and that K is more important than p. Usually with the bloom boosters I have seen high P with K at about half the P. It seems that tissue analysis' done have shown that N requirements actually go up slightly, P goes down, and K goes up during flowering.

I found most of this from Advanced Nutrients Growers Underground videos, and I am somewhat skeptical about AN, but Big Mike has made the tissues analysis available for anyone to look over. He had an independent laboratory verify the results he got in his Bulgarian research center.

anyone have any opinions or info on this?

Deuce deuce from humboldt nutrients is o-0-22 and its Kelp but i heard kelp keeps the buds to green late in flower and as far as AN goes they exploit every marketing tactic possible and they are way to confident and act like everything works the same for everything but when you get the main tech guy on the line he is legit and admits to their flaws but the rest of the sales reps just say you dont need to understand it just use it... AN says use three times k than p but im over their stuff too much variance and changes and mistakes in there labels and lies as far as ph ppm perfect propaganda
