This is my 2nd time using this recipe & I am having good results.
10 Gallon Mix
10 Tbsp of Root and Foliar Packs
150ml of Malasses Brix
2 oz of Humic Acid
10 Tbsp of Sea Kelp
2 oz of Fish Hydrolysate

After brewing the tea for about 18 hours I decided to take 8 gallon to feed the girls, then I filled the bucket with 8 more gallons of water & food, letting it brew for another 12 hours to use in my vegetable garden, the result was even more foam than before.

I am Sorry guys. It is NOT 18 hours, but 24 hours. I got confused with my 18 hours vegetative cycle & type it here.

My current tea equipment.

1) 5 gallon bucket
2) 6" air disc w/ 3/8" inlet. wrap electrical tape around it so that I can use 1/2" black vinyl tubing I already had.
3) eco plus5 commercial air pump. This pump is very loud if the airstone is not attached, and still loud when running with airstone. My room is built with quietrock and sound deadening vinyl sheeting so I DGAF but you might..

My current recipe:
1) fill bucket to 4 gallon mark
2) throw in a solo cup full of EWC (earth worm castings)
3) add 4 tblspoon each root pack and foliar pack
4) add 100 mL grandmas unsulphured black strap molasses from syrup aisle in grocery store
5) mix it all up with my hand.
6) drop air disc in. It does not stay upright, but faces down at a 45 degree angle because of the tubing. I don't fuck with it I just leave it like that. It blasts sir in to the bottom of the buck which keeps things from settling pretty good.

THE MAGIC BULLET:

My tea is going nuts after 24 hours. At this point I take a cup and I use a cup of tea for each plant right in to the crown. Then I add 1 gallon of tea to 100 gallons of nutrient solution in my MPB (or UC if you are running one). Then I take a another gallon of tea and drop it in to my 100 gal veg res (recirc top feed), and then I take 7 cups for my each of my 2 35 gal. DTW top feed reservoirs.

Then, I strain the rest in to a 1 gallon tank sprayer and fill with dechlorinated tap water. I use this filter with a big blue housing to dechlorinate my tap.

I then add to the sprayer:

1 oz of growmore kelp
1 tsp of Ca25

Shake up the sprayer for a minute to mix it all up.

I use this solution to soak all the plants from cutting to week 3 of bloom. I do not pH it. It is pretty much neutral.

The next day I see VERY happy plants. All reaching for the sky.

Got my first batch brewing now with your recipe Cap. Was wondering what to do with the Nute pack though. Maybe just make a separate batch to crown feed with..?

Just add it at the end. 1.25 teaspoons/gal. Or do a separate watering with the nute pack if you need more than what the tea will give you.

If you can cover your topsoil with some rubber mulch or even a plastic cover, you will get a lot more of that. Those 2 root nublets look great. Nice and fuzzy.

Thanks for the info Cap. I got a question for ya I just bought an Oxy cloner 20 site. Right now it just has water in it but was thinking of putting some root pack in it. It hold almost 2 gallons what would you recommend for a dose? I was just gonna add it straight to the cloner and let it do its thing..?

Buddy Hemphill said:

In sufficient amount it will burn anything. I dont know what the tolerance for ACT or bennies would be...

Not much, I think.

H202 is for killing micro life...its a sterilizer.

did someone say "replicate"????

Cap combover, anyone?

FYI....this frothy 4 gal mix is 1 teaspoon each of the 3 pack..... 20 mls each of GO Grow/Bloom....1 tsp PHC "Biopak" microbes (mostly kelp/humic powder)....1/3 cup 1-13-0 micronized guano...and 2 tbsp molasses. Tap water...bubbled 24 hours....then the nutes/guano bubbled for another 12 hours.... then the Cap bennies/etc. bubbled overnight.

Think I might need a bigger bucket???? LOL

I just finally got around to ordering Organic Gems Fish Hydrolysate. Microbeman recommends this product so I finally ordered some and it is well worth it. I only used two tablespoons/four gallon recipe. One tbl at the beginning and then one half tsp periodically to keep foam down. I am referring to using it specifically with Caps Bennies.

If you are interested google it and go read why the reasons they give for why it's a superior type of hydrolysate. I just started using it about two weeks ago and I am telling you that although I have a kickass root system anyway from using Caps bennies and compost teas, I could still see a noticeable boost in big white fuzzies growing through my smartpots. It's important if using it in your tea to aerate the water for about three hours prior to putting your recipe in since this product promotes very quick microbial response. I do this anyway since I have a DO meter now and know that it takes about that amount of time for my air pump to hit it's max DO.

I use two. I haven't decided on a brewer yet so I am still in buckets. I just the Active Aqua 110 lt/min and the Active Aqua 45 lt/min. I use three stones on the big one and one on the small one. I just make five gallon batches.
