Generally when I think of indica or sativa, the only thing that I think of is 8 weeks of flower or 14 weeks of flower. I guess I'm just more worried about growing than smoking 🤣

I'm a true cannabis addict. Not addicted to smoking it, just growing it 🤠

I'd be more than happy to purchase from a local grower, but I don't personally know anyone there. I've been to URB in Monroe. I used to go to Exclusive in Ann Arbor, but they've opened a location in Monroe. That's where I went last. Dude gave me 60% off my order too. My receipt said "We've missed you" after each discount. Not sure what that was about, but I wasn't complaining.

I got:
•GMO, 3rd favorite
•Donkey Butter, 2nd favorite
•Cherry AK-47, 4th favorite, but I do love the gun. Not going to lie, it's why I purchased this strain. 🥴
•Sour Diesel, which was my favorite and had the least amount of THC.

Oh, the why? No particular reason other than closer proximity to my house. 3 hour drive one way. I haven't even been to ours. Opened to the public last Tuesday, but until things are sorted out and prices drop, I won't walk in the doors.
Oh, I thought you meant you bought seeds from someone in Michigan. LOL

Lmao. No, dude told me about a spot for clones in Monroe though.

My seeds are from OldChucky's neck of the woods. Got them in a trade. My seed purchase will include some freaks for sure. That's next year though. My growing season will be over soon for the year.

Despite all of their high technology, many hospitals that are trauma centers and burn units maintain a population of live maggots in-house to treat serious wounds. That's right, MAGGOTS! They put them right in the wounds. Sounds really gross but it works! That's not information they want to get out because......well consider your gut reaction when you read that. People would be freaking out. 🤣

30yrs ago i worked at a hospital here in the Physical Therapy unit. We did Hydro therapy for burns and wounds. Saw some horrific stuff but i really really loved my work and doing wound care. Yes we used live maggots i do not remember where they came from but ordered by the patients Dr. Yes they worked and were gentle on the patient.

IIRC the conversion of THC to THCP in the liver is why edibles are so much stronger than smoking or dabbing. Finding a way to preserve terps during extraction would be a game changer. There is a company in CA that has the most extensive and complete terp profile for countless strains. They pretty much have a monopoly on terp infusion for things like distillate cartridges. The extraction process can strip away the terps and they sell manufacturers terp profiles to reintroduce them to the concentrate. First botanical based and now also supposedly cannabis (hemp?) terps. While I will use carts if I can't find a medicinal strain in flower form, such as Moby Dick which works better than albuterol IME, but I prefer ethanol extraction. I want all of the cannabinoids, terpenes, flavinoids, vanilloids, waxes and oils, etc. This is why RSO works so well. Rick Simpson's story is pretty incredible and a recommended read. My wife has CKD ( Chronic Kidney Disease) and I have used predominantly diet to take her from stage 4 to normal kidney function in less than a year. By strategically using these same compounds found in foods (especially culinary herbs), her body is healing itself, in effect. Terps have played a big role in this endeavor. I'm known in dispensaries as "the terp hunter". While others only want the highest THC percentage, my first question is about terpene content. No one ever broke out their loupe to inspect trichomes when buying a bag. We stick our nose in it and inhale.

Such a good way to explain it, referring to the quote. Although the paragraph was good too ✌️

Thanks. I was geeking out at a dispensary one day and the budtender slipped me the contact info at the company I mentioned. I was interested in talking to them about some custom (non-strain-based) medicinal terp profiles. They were not interested in that "market sector". Fools! Anyway, I was trying to explain my position on the importance of terpenes and it just kinda jumped outta my mouth. But you never what will jump outta mouth at any time. Even me! 🤣

Hello everybody, I have an article on our website that is very similar to this one but with additional info and its free, would it be okay if I posted a link to it?

I would think as long as you’re not trying to sell anything it would be fine. But not my call. We’ll be waiting 😃

Way late to the convo but this is something im figuring out on my own in the last few years! Getting “Indica” from the weed store has been the same as getting a “hybrid” from my friend, or even smoking my own stuff which is all sativa heavy hybrids. Im finding my ability to sleep after consuming a sativa heavy hybrid its up to me to get in the right head space to fall asleep! I used to stay away from the stuff like coffee after 12pm lol. I still feel a heavy leaning Indica will knock my dick in the dirt and put me sleep more so than a fire sativa! It’s some weird shit. But im really happy to be reading some actual scientific research that has been getting done! This is what will stick and shape the feature for us consumers/cultivators : ) thank you guys for sharing the articles you have! Also @GNick55 dude above wants to post a link, is that cool?

Disregard that tag GNick : )
