TGA-Subcool Seeds: Pandoras Box, Space Jill & Deep Purple~First Time Grow Diary

Without further ado :sign0023: here it is, my very own grow diary.
I bought these seeds from my club last year...Thanks all.
I have always loved the growth structure of TGA gear. The buds always look spectacular... & I only hope to start something similar & just as appealing.
{I also want to take a minute of your time to say Thank You to everyone over at TGA for all their hard work & ambition to create great strains}

So with that said, here goes nothing...:character0050:

I started the soak of these babies a week ago in 6.0 filtered water.
I keep the trays "in a dish" on top of my television, it seems the heat helps'em pop after a few days, I usually let'em soak for a least 7.

Then I place them in a couple paper-towels & those are kept in a zip-lock turkey bag.
I put a straw in & close it up (the straw is for me to blow some CO2 into the environment). All is placed in a warm spot for a few days.

Everything seems good. :rock

1st things 1st.
I hope everyone had a great :420:

Well, all went mēdēˈōkər, I guess...:evilgrin0040:

2-[for sure] possibly 3 out of 7 ain't too bad (if they live), being they survived my clumsy ass.:character0029:
1 sprouted then died, 1 disappeared :mad0229:, & the last never cracked.
If the last two Deep Purple don't survive, I may start a few more, just to get a taste.

Oh well, I still have the original Pandoras Box that I germ'd a while back. [pics to come] & an Arjan Haze [clone] that survived a disaster.
Those two are outside in partial [soon to be full sun] toughening up.

I am also playing with a Purple Wreck [Purple Urkle x Trainwreck] & Lavender (both clones) that I acquired from my local shoppe.
I'm training both of those gems under 24hrs of CFL (DualSpec) before I move them outdoors to harden up. [throwing those in to possibly pique some peoples interest]

I have four days worth of shots to post, they will go in order.

What are seed sacks made of? Do you use glass jars in them? If so, remove the glass jars imo. Glass jars would prevent proper drainage and air flow. Those cups are a lot easier to work with.

The one that passed is overwatered - Less Water, More Waterings

Naw, no glass jars...I am using a sock that is holding the medium, actually two socks. I have a couple of them adapted with the top of a plastic water bottle that I cut off, so I can cover them for humidity purposes. I then, after they are ready, plop them into a larger container.

Gonna use 10 gallon Sunleaves bags.

You are correct sir, I do over water...everything, it's my pet peeve.:evilgrin0040:

But...
I really think I left them in the soak for too long, my sacks dry out relatively quick, I need to water them about every 6-8 hours.

After the death of the one seed, I removed the tops from the remaining sacks. The PB & SJ popped fast, & the bottle tops were removed.

The pic that shows the dead seed, that one was watered before the shot was taken.
That seed popped up looking nice but dried out because I didn't have it covered.:anim_09: I know, I know.
I just forgot to cover it before I left for work.:evilgrin0040:

I still have some hope for the 2 Deep Purple babies that are still stuck in limbo. My Pandoras Box & Space Jill are doing fine, and will blow up soon.:party0042:

Here is my original Pandoras Box I had started 1 month prior to the ones above.
I originally started a Pandoras & Space Jill but the Space Jill {the one reaching} was accidentally OD'd...:worried ,
The Pandoras Box survived the ordeal but stopped growing for a few weeks. I nursed her back to health and topped her a couple of times. She's now thriving and starting to get big.
