Man! My NL86’ held tough for days at a time! Only saw it droop once, then I noticed whatever was happening to the lower leaves which could have been a root bound soil compaction issue or just a simple nute deficiency. Didnt taste the time to figure it out because i knew i was going to transplant that B into a two gal with Gaia LOL.

I got the Capt crossed with Maui 86’ version so im sure thats going to make a bit of difference though : ) out of all my plants she’s the one that never really complained or got dramatic with anything! Other than being extremely polite in letting me know about the above mentioned issue🤣

When we first moved in, my wife got me this bird feeder at True Value in town. I put it up and we had some birds at first but these little piglets… I filled that feeder up Monday morning. We have somewhere around 50-ish that stay all winter. I’m going to channel my inner Don Carlson and hang a feeder by the window of the grow shed to see if I can take advantage of the sonic bloom from the noise these guys make every morning.

Do you think a resin shed like this Rubbermaid would be easier/more efficient to insulate than a metal or wood shed? I really like this one for the height and the floor but the metal ones are so much cheaper. Just thinking maybe this one I can get away with those thin reflective bubble rolls instead of thick styro panels. Fiberglass definitely off the table.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

heck yeah! You could use foam board inside or even make a sub frame out of wood to be able to secure finishing and hang lights/ equipment! Looks nice : )

We’ve got big blue jay looking things! And some red breasted robin things. I’ve tried doing my the humming feeders but I’m bad at that lol. It is fun to watch them buzz around! And they’re beautiful!

Curious about the circle of life? Does the dropped feed attract rodents, thus attracting other wildlife?!😍 some birds of prey maybe?🤩

Yes. My other feathered friends live in the live oaks out back. There are three great horned owls that work the night shift and clear the area. Anything during the day that moves won’t make it past the golden and bald eagles or the redtailed hawks. No idea if we have falcons but I wouldn’t be surprised.

The owls are kind of cool to watch at night. The are a trip when the fly over and make no noise at all. Their wings have to be 3-4 feet long.

Yeah I know but $599 now! I'm so tempted. I haven't checked yet if my ac infinity fans might be too old and incompatible with the automation feature. Replacing those would be a waste though when I have inkbird controllers laying around.
7 x 7 are tiny! 7 x 10, it’s pretty tiny too! Resin looks like a decent choice! But think about it, and project yourself into the future and get one big enough to be happy in!✌️

Mine is around 9x11 and i wish i had an extra couple feet in each direction hahaha!

Thanks man! I was thinking of putting dryer vent flanges it the walls for 4" flex from the tents.

Seeing that I already have all the grow equipment the only cost is going to be the shed and environmental control. I also have bunch of small space heaters and humidifiers already but I was thinking of upgrading to this ac infinity unit. It's definitely not cheap but I'm a big fan of their fans (it's all I use). Do you think it's worth it? I'm also not open to cut a window AC into this shed because it has to be more incognito.
Might as well pop off on this also! Lol! In my opinion, it is too new! The reviews show of its shortcomings! For a lot less than that, you can get an Inverter window, air conditioner, that does all of that! And is about 15 seer! And quiet to boot! I know you say you can’t use a window one now! But I think you will change your tune on that! So get a shed that will accommodate one also!😅😆😍

The space is basically a 20×14 patio behind the house with paver stones. I have to leave plenty of room for furniture, a bbq, some raised planter beds and a rainwater barrel.

Power is going to have to be run by a heavy duty extension cord from an outlet on the side of the house about 6 feet away. I think this is going to be a huge limiting factor.

That’s the spirit! 🙌 Huzzah!😍 If these two boneheads bear, and Trg can do it, you shouldn’t have any problem! 😂😂🍻

I think that’s beautiful! Did it work? Lol! No lack of imagination there! I think I suggested something like that to bear when he first started! He more or less said I was insane, and to leave him alone!

Hell yeah it works!

It would work better if more than two inches on one side didn't blow out 80% of the cold air though! It's like "let's make this air outlet 12" wide but only 10% of it is effective" 🤔

There's always a workaround though! Lol

I use a 15 amp GFCI outlet for everything but the heater. I got a 20 amp 50’ extension cord and cut one end to wire to the lead gang box. Romex between the boxes. Makes it a “plug in” shed.
