i can read entire lines at a time if im clear minded and focused, i can even read a line based on my immediate memory of what it looked like. often im not that mindfully focused though, (or something is preventing me from being....lol) and have to go word by word often, and when im reading that way, its slow, jumbled and weird, and takes a bit to sink in.
If a line has a bunch of crossed "t's" or L's and capital I's that are next to charachters like lowercase g's, q's, or if im trying to read cursive writing, i cant go by the image of a full line, and word by word, a good way to describe what a line with a bunch of characters like that, i have to force myself to read word by word, is that it looks a lot like Elvish script from the lord of the rings books lmfao. Which i did actually enjoy enough to finish. Eventually. took several years lol
Only reason i can type so quickly is because i learned to touch type letter by letter from home row, and i actually dont look at the keyboard or the screen either one, then just edit it afterwards. When im done typing i go back and space it out into paragraphs so i can actually proof read and edit more effectively.
"When typing i dont if i go back and space it out" was how i originally wrote "When im done typing, i go back and space it out" and that was likely because i started looking at the screen while i was typing. not sure, im stoned on pretty powerful cannabis today hahahahaha.
I literally had to come back in after proof reading, space this all out, and try and make sense of my own writing, and put something in its place that actually makes sense if someone else bothers to read this. That's just one specific example of a few sentences i had to re-tranlslate into something that might actually make sense to whoever read it on this one
