Decades ago, when I tried growing outdoors along the edge of the woods, I was never successful at growing because of inexperience and a shorter growing period. The other problem is that there were no clones or seeds available except for bag seeds, so you never really knew what you were getting. One thing I used to make out of my male plants was brownies. I know they were just leaves, and they were very noticeable in the brownie's taste, but they also whacked my more than I would have thought. The majority of available smoke was $40/Oz Colombian, but I was surprised at how much the male plant's potency came thru in the brownies.
Nowadays, male leaves are used for compost and not much more. Does anyone have any idea of the THC content of a std, run of the mill strain? Obviously, the female has a lot more THC, but how much is in the male plant, notably the newer growing tips (as opposed to giant fan leaves)? Any research done on this? We used to make alcohol oil from the clipped sugar leaves and it was pretty strong, the male plants are sort of under the radar.

There must be some for sure I would guess less than 5.just not economical light amd room are better used for females and male plants ruin the females. But before my time they would throw the flower in garbage and smoke the males stems and all. May be worth keeping if you could segregate them but still waste of time Imo.

Although I've heard of some high thc male strains can't Remeber for the life of me what sorry
