THCV, CBG - Indoors - Spring 2026

Popping some THCV and La Berna seeds for my next grow. If I can plan it right, would like to cross these two.

Used the paper towel method to germinate. Damp paper towels in zip lock bags on a paper plate, on a solid plate and covered with another plate. That's a lot of plates! I placed the plate on top of my laptop, it's generally warmer there.

After we got some tails on the seeds, into soil and small seedling cups. Popsicle stick labeling, red for THCV, yellow for La Berna. I think I have 4 popping through so far, 2 of each. My clumsy-ass tipped over a few when moving them so hopefully didn't cause too much trouble for the others to sprout.

Thanks TerpBeans, they are from Jade Nectar / Jade Grove. He had a "Free the V" campaign a few years ago, I was lucky enough to make the trip to that area and pickup some - https://www.jadenectar.com/THCV.html

Not much to update on, a few have popped the surface. I think there's a couple with the seed shell sorta encapsulating the top. Always a bit of challenge to remove it sometimes. Will give it another day or two to see if those figure it out.

Much thanks! This THCV has been a good smoke for me, not overpowering, but soothing and comforting.
The grower, Jade Nectar/Grove, is doing farm tours this year, I'm hoping to visit the next one and obtain some more of those original THCV seeds.
I appreciate you following along here as well
