The Adventure Continues. 2016 Edition

Thx sea maiden. I got 60 feet of hosing and the upgraded nozzle. It's pretty awesome. Got everything dialed in at one garden.

Looking great, boss. Just wanted to second @Seamaiden s earlier comment about broad mites. Symptoms of these bastards tend to show up on the newest growth first. Ime their damage caused my leafs to curl inward as opposed to upward in your pics. Either way keep up the good work.

Yeah I had broad mites the year before last. It was terrible. Lost about 15 or 20 9 foot plants. My buddy gave me the plants and they were covered in them. They spread to the plants around them and did some damage but thank God they didn't get everything.

Sorry to hear that, I had em for like 6 months last year until I figured out how to get in front of them. Got em from dirty craigslist clones. Had to stop running a perpetual grow and slow things down. A humbling experience for sure but I learned a whole hell of a lot during it.

Devastating, yes.

The one positive thing from going through it is all the holes it points out in ones system. Puts on display what needs retooling. Shit like that gets paid for one way or another I suppose.

That is a really good tank sprayer, but for many like myself the 15gal would have served my needs just as well. :) Put it on rollers and you're golden!

So the battery charger I got doesn't have the ability to run the sprayer for very long without it draining the battery. Even when the thing is plugged in and fully charged it only lasts about three hours. Any ways, we have all the light dep sprayed for bugs, mites and caterpillars as well as a good chunk of the first garden. (We have already seen a bunch of caterpillars. More then normal for this early in the year.). Were gonna be spraying for about a week straight. Once were done spraying it's gonna be time to spray again. FML. . Today we also applied 700 pounds of the growilla veg to one garden and watered it in with ph down and cal mag. We are going to apply another 700 pounds or so to the other garden tomorrow. Hopefully we can get everything sprayed, the drip system ready, the second garden completely trellised up, the barn remodel finished and oh yeah, I'm getting married in ten days :). Let's do this.

Are you just dragging it around? Thing needs some wheels!

At first I put mine in a cart that was hooked up to my lawn tractor, then my husband got rid of the lawn tractor. As I mentioned, now it's used on my quadrunner. I keep the quad running so the battery isn't drained. I suggest getting two batteries, maybe three, just so you always have one that's good to go.

I bought a 60 foot extended hose. So I will place the sprayer in the section I want to spray and then fill it up with everything I want to spray with. I will use the whole tank and when I'm done with that batch I pick the whole tank up and move it to the next Zone. It's been working pretty good

Trying to come up with a way to keep the soil from building up around the stalks and creating moisture issues. I built this little plastic ring I think I might use a little stronger plastic but it seems like it will keep the wet dirt away when we hand water.
