Hello everyone, this is my first grow and it's almost harvest time.
I've heard 10% and 30% amber up until 50%; I'm curious to know how you all judge your buds.
I am currently on day 55 since I first noticed the pistils coming from my plants, they are all different strains but started at the same time. The flowering time for all of them ranges from 53-62 days.
As of last night when I looked through my loupe at max magnification I noticed some amber trichomes on all four plants, not much but some. If you zoom in on my included pictures (a bit blurry through the loupe, sorry!) You can see some of the amber yourself. Most are cloudy and some are still clear. I have read this is the time when the thc content is the highest and if that's the case it may be best to harvest now? My one major thought against that is that the hairs are maybe 40-50% orange on all the plants so I would think they would be closer to 90% orange when fully ripe.

This strain has been getting alot of yellowing leaves, I'm beginning to think it's just genetic and is how the plant finishes. Was on the same nutrient schedule, and I even gave it a booster last week instead of continuing to flush it. The recent cold temperatures at night is bringing out the purple.
