Yep 100% haha, I buy shit all the time but it’s just expansion, nothing ever ends up coming down 🤣
I’ve been using some of the same equipment for 6 years now,

Out of curiosity what type of setup do you have? What nutes do you use

test you pen I’m a cup of water first
Make sure it reads close to 7.2

Of so mix up a batch of nutes in a bucket to 6.2 nd just add until 6.2 comes out the bottom

If you mix your nutes in the bucket and it reads 5.5 or something just add some ph up power a small crumb at a time till you are in range
My tap water is coming up 5.9
i would calibrate the pen at least once before using it, tho i m not sure on how to use this powder buffer, mine come in liquid form.
It’s coco, try not to think of it as soil
You can’t over water unless you put like 4 gallon threw nd let it sit in its own swamp

That’s why people do coco as if it was soil you would have to wait till next week

You can feed as often as you like as long as your Within ranges of ppm and ph
My water is measuring 4.9 from the tap??

Your pen is off

Order one tht doesn’t look cheaply made if that makes sense

Your paying for the sensor al the casings will be plastic

Again blue labs are my go to I’ve got there combo meter shows ppm ph and temp all on one screen, but I’d only recommend tht for rdwc

They have a hand held one for around 100 or something with the probes of you really wanna splash the cash

If not I’d order 2 cheap ones incase one is off again it’s verry common with the £10 ones

My water is reading 6.0 out of the tap now.
with some "ph up" and "ph down" some designed for hydro and not some designed specifically for organic growing

what brand of coco and product name ?
Eco thrive

The pH of most drinking-water lies within the range 6.5–8.5.

thoose powder buffer seem to be one shot use with 250ml of water, tho' i see nothing if they work with all kind of water all various tap, ro, distilled ... (tap water come in various ph and ec depending your location ...)

not sure how long they can be stored past being mixed ...

you need to clarify that before preparing the buffering solution and calibrate your pen.

i would anyway advise to buy some liquid buffering solution for each pen you use. much easier to use

if you never used it, it should work, might just need calibration
