I think the auto idea is solid! But I think you’re better off, growing them in pots! But I don’t mess with them anyway! Growing in Maine, you are stuck between a rock and a hard place! Season is too short for photos! I think pots give you a little more control over the plant! Especially autos! But you might have time to pop a few more! L O L!
Naw, this is Maine not Alaska 😁 people grow big gardens here outdoors, I can get weed for $50 an ounce here.

I've seen it advertised in dispensaries for that much on specials as well, but it's usually about $100-120

No pots, my whole purpose was to grow a cannabis plant in the ground for the first time in my life, don't care how runty it is just wanted to get one healthy to harvest. Along the way I've learned a new respect for you outdoor growers, it's not as easy as I thought!

After seeing their response to your seed pack I wouldn't buy their seeds again full stop, but even more so if their genetics aren't up to standard.

Do you know what breeder you will try next?
Yes I grew something from Swerve at cali connection that I really liked and I'm going to grab some gear from him first, I'm also going to check out Greenpoint, see what he's up to

I've always preferred land races to this fruity stuff anyway so that's the direction I'm headed

Let's try again! 😁

So in a minute after I brew more coffee I'm going to go chop these stinky cheese and then start my bud washing

hopefully I get the trimming and washing done before it starts raining

apparently my hydrogen peroxide didn't make the move so I'm going to do a lemon and baking soda rinse

These three girls woke me up this morning with their stink 20 ft away from them, I really like cheese I might give big Buddha's Cheese a try down the road

No idea where I'm going to hang these 🤔 when I get growing inside I'm going to dedicate a 2x4 tent just for drying (and I'll probably keep supplies in the bottom of it) cuz I live in a much smaller house now than the beach house and my closet space is limited to clothes, as ridiculous as that sounds 🤣

I might just hang them on the screen porch to dry in the air for a few days and then hang them out in the garage or bathroom I don't know I'm going to wing it for now

First plants in almost 3 years
First outdoor harvest ever

This is Mr Stretchy, haven't trimmed a plant in nearly 3 years and Mr Stretchy has shown me that the arthritis in my left hand has gotten quite a bit worse 😲🤣😂🤣 but we'll get it done

After this joint I'm going to nuke a bud of this and twist it up see what it's like

That's the top one? Looks nice!
Thanks! Ya that was the little one, I'll smoke that one because it has no bud rot, but the one I'm cutting into now I've cut out a fair amount or rot already

😕 I'll just make an oil out of these last two, I'll save time trimming! 😁

The three Northern Lights are in the earth, I forgot to get pics I'll grab them tonight

That plant that we weren't sure if it was Bud rod or not a few pages back was Bud rot and then some! I chopped about a third of it off

The third and largest plant had less rot, maybe 10% or so

All together I doubt all 3 plants even fill a jar. No way I'm smoking any of this, I've got respiratory issues, so I'm going to make an oil.

My biggest takeaway from my first ever outdoor grow is hurry up and set up my indoor grow 😂🤣😂

So these NL autos are in the ground, they're a little beyond seedling stage I'll have to look up the pictures get an exact date

I think breeder said 11 or 12 weeks so that'll be middle of September and no, there will not be snow on the ground then Chucky 😂🤣😂✌🏻

Ain’t gonna happen, brother! I’ve seen too many people crash and burn back there! But we will have fun giving it a try! Hell yeah!😂👍

Whole garden got weeded this morning, the hay I used as a ground cover has pretty much already composted, next time I'm using the black ground cloth material. The far garden will get weeded next 😓

Cannabis plants are at bottom right

Amish paste tomatoes are doing good but my celebrities are just sitting there this year

I'm going to find a new greenhouse next year I wasn't happy with a lot of what they had this year, it's an Amish greenhouse but it doesn't have to be

Once I roll one up and make some more coffee I'm going to feed everything with a fairly strong dose of Schultz 20 20 20 this morning and although I see no sign of blossom end rot I'm going to throw a little calcium down before I water

the ground here is heavy in calcium but I've already fed them extra magnesium so I'm going to do it as a preventative

I harvested a summer squash, or yellow squash last week that I could drive nails with!?

I threw it out for the deer and even they can't eat it and I've seen them eat whole pumpkins 🤷🏻 I don't get it

so far I've only harvested two, one was delicious and then there was that fucking yellow rock, hope the rest are normal

I'll get some pictures of the Cannabis but honestly I'm thinking of pulling them up, I don't want to run anymore substandard RQS gear, I could produce crop after crop of radish in that same 40 square feet of ground and I may well do that, although I also hate to kill healthy cannabis plants, but I'm not sentimental.

I decided to leave the cannabis plants🤦🏻 (couldn't do it, it's bad mojo!) Made room for radishes in the back garden

They're already flowering, likely going to be even smaller harvest than the Cheese

Unlike the last set these got an optimal start with full sun since they were above the soil

I've grown a dozen or so freebie autos indoors and I always got around 3 oz off each plant

So I don't know what's the deal with these but you see what I see 🤷🏻

Everything just got a weekly 650 PPM feeding this morning, going to stake up the eggplants in the morning, they're doing really good this year

Edit: the yellow is the early sun's reflection
