So..... how was the day, you ask? High. Very high.

I started with a 3 ml dose and to be honest, didn’t dare try any more than that for the rest of the day. Every time I considered if any more was necessary the resounding message from my ECS was, “NO!”

Somewhere around 2.5 hours in I took a hit from the bong - a teeny-tiny hit - and again around 5 PM and 7 PM. Couldn’t smoke much either of those last two, and here I sit at 9:22 PM, worn down a bit from an energetic day. All in all, this was an intense buzz, but not so intense I couldn’t function.

It creates that tiredness behind the eyes I’m not fond of - one of the reasons I choose Dark Devil Auto and Carnival as my main meds - but that wasn’t a deterrent to getting anything done, and to be honest, I had a wonderful day, start to finish. I’ve been engaged with my friends and neighbors all day long, and got done all the necessary chores, like seeing to it I remembered to eat. Lol!

Tomorrow I’m trying a 2 ml dose to see how long it’ll carry me before I reach for the bong. Most times I reach out of habit, and I’m doing my best to not be habitual about my consumption while I try these oils out. With the smaller dose I’ll feel more comfortable about trying a second dose. My system runs hotter with things like cobs, Dust, and now this oil, and I’ve learned that a second edible dose usually doesn’t mirror the results of the first. Typically that second dose makes me more tired at the end of the day.

A couple days more with this Infused oil and I’ll take a few days off before trying the CCO. I was thinking today the fastest way to get that to hit would be to dissolve some in a bit of spiced rum, swirl lit in my mouth and and swallow it down in one swig. That may be the way I decide to go with the first dose. With only 2 ml of CCO to play with I’ll be more conservative with the testing. I expect the CCO to be significantly more pronounced in potency than the infused. Any suggestions as to a starting dose of the concentrate?

So far I’m impressed with the effects of a diversified mix. I can see how this would be more beneficial medicinally. About 1/4 of my strains were higher CBD, and the euphoria is nothing to sneeze at. This has me thinking about mixing bud for combustion. I know you’re not a fan, but I am, and so are many others. While I’m thinking of it, the next time someone asks you if mixing buds to smoke would be effective too, the answer is, “Yes.” They’re even more effective in that type of mix if the buds are decarbed first.

I’m done for the day. Time for bed. Be careful with yourself. The body is made to heal, but it appreciates it if it doesn’t have to work too hard at that job.
