I couldn't get out of the hospital in time to transplant lol solo warriors
is it ok that all the store had were green solo's no red?
yep they have been in those cups all their lives. Its homemade compost mixed with pro-mix.

I use an old method and I never vary from it unless I'm using fresh seeds
I'd just made within a few months.. fresh seeds start easily and can be dropped right into the ground, just never allow them to go completely dry while in germ mode...
My proven germ method for any seed a yr or more old...
Drop seeds into good filtered water, I use a britta pitcher..
Stir from time to time, when seeds sink and stay at bottom they
have absorbed all the water they can.. (usually 12-24hrs)
I then go into paper towels, damp not WET.. and into baggy..
Slip this into an oven mit and put somewhere warm'ish.. I'd say
65-75f... seeds are designed to awaken above 55f when the sun
begins to warm the ground outdoors.. fallen seeds defrost and start
their life cycle.. this is why I store my seeds in the freezer... unless the
seeds are old and been stored improperly, this should work.. if not
I've been known to slice the seam with a razor knife.. then begin the
above procedure.. even putting them between my teeth to use Dr. skunkins method above.. whatever it takes... lol.
