[Gets on knees and bows profusely]"...OMMMMMM; HATS OFF TO THE MASTER! OMMMMMMMM!...."

That's way better than anything I can do bro! Keep it up! 👍🤩
Well damn brother! You know how to make a guy feel special! 🤣 Thank you! 🥰 I dont know about master but this cookies grow is coming together very nicely. What i do know is if you wanted to you could do the same. Ive seen your tent!

So the first few days of the heavy 16 line went well but the last 3 days has been fighting pH swings into high 6s. Like .5-1 full point in 24hrs type swings. I'll spare you the details but it's been a pita. I don't think it's been a big stall for the plant but it had to slow her down some. She started showing a few signs of the pH problems today.

Hopefully she picks up mate. Always annoying as fuck. Me satties are having the opposite problem. Medium pH dropping over the last week.

I'm usually running plants that take 11-13 weeks from seed to harvest, and my medium mix mirrors that. The potting mix I use starts to lose its buffer around 10 weeks in, especially considering I've never ran these cunts off. With these satties pushing another 8 weeks flower Im sure mine are Gunna look like deaths dick come a few more weeks unless I start pHing and running off.

This new line might not be designed for this system I'm running either that or I'm also missing one of the bottles(roots) which may be the missing chemistry to stabilize the ph. Ive ordered the roots but it wont be here until the 16th. Until then Im micro managing the res making it work.

Make me feel stupid. Satties?

got damn!🤩

doing a good job keeping it real micro managing! 💪

Man that plant is simply crazy. Never seen anything like it 👍
Thank you both. This is only my 3rd run with this method and by far the best results. Its crazy to me too! When I first discovered this method it was a reddit post and I thought it was fake dude had to be lying. Nope!

I owe it all to my dad. Not to many hillbillies up in northern Minnesota but he is definitely the Popcorn Sutton of Minnesota. I'm trying not to follow to close in his footsteps for my wife and kids sake But it's hard not to. We have way to much

Got everything cut and hanging. I'm having an issue with the portable AC dumping humidity into the closet on startup. It's around 5% causing the closet to hit 67-68rh% for roughly 5 minutes before the exhaust can get it under control. I've tried a bunch of fixes but still working on it.

Warm air holds a lot more moisture than cold air.
So when you lower the air temperature the rh goes up.
this happens often with oversized ac units in homes. =runs short time, cools house but its humid as fuck=
so you wanna have something that runs all the time to pull off that moisture that is in the air.

I used to dry buds in a large cardboard box hooked to a tent inlet. pull in the air from the house. pass it thru the drying chamber, then to tent.
Young plants like moist air, they do not need a lot of co2 and the lamp is not putting out a lot of heat.
then exhaust it thru the filter.

if you do not find that attractive.
I'd try just running your exhaust fan to use your house rh to dry the weed. or running the ac at lower temperature to get it to run more. maybe it has a dehumidify option.
but what ever air you exhaust from your building envelope it will have to be pulled in somewhere else.

Nice grow btw.

I sorted it all out after i posted that. I elevated the ac so I could use the drain plug bypassing the self evaporating feature. As well as placing a 6" fan behind the unit where it pulls air in which dries the coils while its shut off. I need to do some fine tuning but Im close to precise control.

EDIT: I made a plenum box that can probably be built better or at least be modified for better distribution between the closet and lung room. That would allow the unit to run longer.

Thank you.

Did some canopy work. Trying to be careful in there around all the precious trichomes but it made things take forever. Ran out of time tonight so there will be a part 2 tomorrow. I need that light getting down to the bottom buds.

I havent been updating on the 5x5 very much mainly due to it being slow and Im not doing anything with them. The biggest maintenance has been keeping the humidifier full.

The whole tent sprouted in the same 24hr period. Today is day 24 above ground for everyone. These close ups are before the mentioned 2nd round of defol. At the end in the full tent pic its after the 2nd defol. I was being lazy and didnt get the close ups afterwards.

Fastbuds original blueberry has been the standout if you will of the tent. She was the first to get out of the rockwool and into the soil. I staked her top 3 days ago??? maybe 4 days ago. Also took 1 set of fans off the top at that time. Last night I took 2 more sets of fans to set those laterals free.

Toofless Alien stalled and had a slow start with the rockwool disaster but she is doing things. She got the same treatment as the blueberry.

Fastbuds original white widow also stalled a good bit. Shes in 3rd place here when it comes to getting out of the rockwool and taking off. She is the also the last in the tent to get defol and lst. Same as the others a stake and some big fans removed.

Grape Walker Kush was one of the sprouts that took the rockwool to soil poorly. She has looked sickly her whole life. Im guessing she has a weak root system so Ive left her completely untouched. Pre flower hit 3 days ago.

Wedding glue took a minute to get her shit together. She is finally getting close to some lst and defol.

Strawberry Pie is the helmet head victim. I wasnt even sure she would make it, now look at her! lol.

Dishonorable mention is the mbap and strawberry soda. Not the strains but my failed attempt at the rockwool. I tried for a minute to keep them going but stopped fucking with them a few days ago. No close up of them but they are pale and droopy and basically no development in 24 days of life.

Yeah seems like the rockwool start into soil has some challenges.
I hear it a lot. Havn't tried starting in rockwool myself.

I shouldve done more reading on it. I just used my common sense approach, turns out Im a dumbass. Ive been educating myself and Ive got something cooking in the background that inolves the rockwool start. We'll see how it goes if it works I'll be sharing.

How tricky is setting the valve to open when you want it to? Is the initial setup a pain in the ass?
There are 2 versions of the caps normal and preset. The preset ones come with 2 marks on the dial that represent the avg setting for low and high pressure systems so initial setup is easier. The normal ones have a more advanced calibration but its really just following directions. I ended up with a mix of preset and normal caps, on the normals I did the calibration and marked the caps myself. Now things are kind of plug and play. Overall setup is "advanced" but not much of a pita. Air bubbles can be an issue with the systems but can easily be countered. Ive had 2 incidents where my drain trays filled up and if not caught wouldve flooded the tent. Both were when hand watering my weekly microbe cocktail. The fix for that is shutting down the blumats when hand watering. The simple version of why. If you hand water when the blumat is also open and watering the flood of extra moisture throws the ceramic tip out of wack.
