Hey Prime!Maybe purple Cookies! lol I read you were gonna try out the nectar of the gods. You been reading MakinGoo's thread on that? I have sample box but im weary if the end product comes out bland in taste. Shit is looking killer though frosty and nice stack! Ive got some samples of the H&G cocos and aqua flakes im gonna try first. Ive seen a few of you guys just smashing it with those nutes and the beds! I wanna smash too lol.
any updates
H&G is really convenient, the 2 -part makes mixing a res allot easier however what I have recently discovered is the importance of organic additives such as kelp, fulvic, vitamins and aminos. Those will help you push your plants to their full potential.ive been using gh 3part for 8 years and now im switching to hg cuz of you
I did a few rooms with promix and the problem with Peat is it stays too wet and was much easier to over-water. Coco is so much better. Not to mention, you can't reuse peat paste 2 rounds, the pH buffer will fade and the mix will be extremely acidic.ya the more I read the more I'm realizing that I could be doing better I'm really loving the beds and am in the transition to them on my next crop looking for a couple more 4x8 trays and its a done deal but dont know weather to do coco or a promix
Don't be scared of the coco all it needs is a little extra Cal/Mag, not a big deal. When transplanting you're going to want to remove as much of the soil from the root ball as possible, soil and coco are too very different mediums.@GR33NL3AF is ther anyway you can break down your process a little more as far as your nute in coco go and the making of your beds I'm ready to start making them but kinda at that point where your scared to do something new and scare that since I've been vegging in soil one gal pots I
m going to to have problems. also if I use my gh lucas 6/9 will i have to use calmag from the start or epsom salt ???
thank you in advance

The Lucas formula will work fine but you will need additional Cal/Mag
I would use the Cal/Mag Plus... Epsom will only provide Magnesium and the idea is to give the coco all the calcium/magnesium it needs before it allows the plant to use it.I just got a bag of epsom salt would you say that this would work for the cal/mag or should I use the calimagic or calmag ( botanicare)
