im doing what i can to maybe figure that crinkle out but im not coming to any conclusions, so im not sure whats up....maybe its not liking something im doing and maybe thats why there mother HERMIED on me...

i have some ALIENDAWGS going but i dont have any males but i do have more seeds so its still doable....

P.S. i have al my plants in the same soil mix but the PIES are the only ones doing this so its a stumper..

peace;)

maybe just maybe she likes less food or a different ph than the others? im pretty sure thats not a genetic trait and if it is i personally wont find that desirable in any cross. i hope you figure it out cuz cherry pie is some mighty fine smoke!

try soakin a cut in sparkling mineral water for 12 -24 hrs a lil great white in the hole of a peat pellet roots in 7 days or less .i have some wifi that dont root unless i do it like this ...btw i should have some AD F3 pollen collected in about three weeks .

ya the dude i got it from hes dont do that so im sure its something on my end, if its a PH thing then shit that could be costly messing around with that not knowing if i need to go up or down with it...

im leaning towards the fact that my dome is holding to hot of a temp seemd to me when i pull the dome off to check things out i get a fairly hot shot of air coming out of the tray....humm the WIFI seems to root quite well for me.....

were talking about your STINKY dude correct??....if so nice mine gave tons of pollen so much so i mixed some with the STARFIGHTER pollen and made the ALIEN CLUSTERFUCK POLLEN hahaha...

very nice:)

Good luck on the cuts big dawg.heat sucks for sure, maybe a little h2o2 to keep the bacteria at bay?

i check every day for any nasties but have not seen anything like that, they just seem to take to long to root and they begin to go yellow and finaly just die......im thinking it just gets to hot in the closet with the door shut umm but i got my flowering tent in there aswell so theres no way to leave the door open AT ALL, wont chance herming this grow no way no how....i may pull it out and leave it in the kitchen under a smaller light at night just to see if thats the problem...i'll most likly start that this evening no sence in waiting, i got three LIME KUSH SNIPS in there and fuck me i need atleast one of those to root for me big time...

peace:)

Luckily I am done cloning until the heat subsides.I actually hit 86 in the bloom room last night.cranked everything down off super lumens to 600w and knocked it down to 83 in a few minutes.I need to adjust my exhaust timers back 10 minutes.they were set to let the lights warm up the room for 10 minutes before they kick on.don't need that anymore.heat sucks.I am all naturally aspirated,no a/c,co2.this will be my first summer with the big guns blazing, should be interesting

i had to do the same thing a couple weeks ago. with no AC i hit 95 so i actually turned the light off till its next scheduled lights on. . thats few days its looked like its gonna rain.. gotta love this bay weather

central air here so i have a coolness in the room but at night the HUMID gos up and i have to shut the closet door so things get mugy in there im sure of it, im going to work on that tonight and i hope it helps out with the rooting...

my grow room door is open all day long and on both my tents i totaly UNZIP the bottom portion of the tent so they get a nice cool intake of fresh air, but at night everything gets ziped and closed but the room its self stay very much in the green and the veg tent only has a 400w mh so theres not much heat build up in there..

if you get your intake and exhaust to push and pull the same amout of air you should be able to equalize the pressure in the tent and be able to keep the flaps closed. i need to upgrade my intake to a 6" so that i can take advantage of that to.

that kinda stff is what i need to learn i read ppl talking about just what you said above and to me its like alien talk, intakes out takes vent flaps air exchange possitive negative air pressure <<all that stuff means nothing to me......

im very simple in wah i do over here i just know when i zip my tents up ALL 4 SIDES suck in about a foot which crushs all my plants on one side of the perimeter pots...

ive recently twisty tied some boards on the inside of my tents that helps alot and keeps the tent from crushing my plants......

i have one 6inch fan its a can fan and i believe its the 440 cfm and i have it ontop of my tents where i have a sheet of light ply board where i have my ballasts aswell, now i have a scrubber in each tent and there BOTH hooked to the one fan which i thought would help with the NEG pressure in the tents and keep the sides from being sucked in but hell no it dont anything of the sort...

for now the boards i put in place will work untill something better comes along...i was told about some type of device that you could use to control the speed of the fan but like i said that kinda stff is not something im good with/at.

peace;)

CHERRY PIE!!
View attachment 230566View attachment 230567
ok so as most know these are clones and the mother i took them from HEMIED early on in this grow so i had to pitch her out, these are the three cuts i kept the others i gave to my northern grow buddie...

so here we are with these three now i know some are going to say WTF up with those leaves well i have no Fing idea there always like that so im guessing its just a trait of the PHENO...

speaking of PHENO ive always been told there are two PHENOS one of the DURBAN which is the one above and the other is of the GDP pheno which i think i have aswell......

funy thing this morning as i was taking those pics above i noticed a very sweet smell as i pulled them out of my tent and after futher smell i found what i was looking for, one of the PIES smells STRAIGHT UP like CHERRY PIE while the other two do not and i dont remember the mother having this smell either....so not sure what to make of this so i marked her with the word CHERRY on her container and in the pics above she is the one on the left....now the others have a sweetish cherry kinda smell but nothing like the on the left ahh maybe its nothing maybe the other have just not gottan to that point yet???....

anybody out there ever find this in there CHERRY PIES?...

the other CHERRY PIE i have looks and smell NOTHING like the ones above she have no curling of the leaves and just straight up stinks and im guessing she is the GDP PHENO of the CHERRY PIE???..........im really wishing i had took and saved some CHERRY POLLEN from one of the CHERRY ALIENDAWG MALES that i threw out, i could have hit this CHERRY PIE with it and really have an awesome smelling plant..

peace:D
Cherry pie stinks so strong it will overpower almost everything else. Stinky in veg and even more smelly in flower. Drying the pie is overpowering. make sure your carbon filters are fresh. I had to pick up an extra carbon filter/fan in a emergency rush. I am lucky no one showed up to investigate.

"Elite Clone" of cherry pie is rock solid for me. I tried to get her to throw nanners and she would not. Maybe the durban pheno is some bag seed that got popped and passed around? does not sound like the "elite clone" the stinky one does sound like the real deal.
Gave some pie clones to another grower and he has almost killed over half of them. Another farmer has one outdoors and she is reported to be kicking ass big time with the pie.

Hope she does well for you. IMHO< give her the love she needs and she will not let you down.

ya the new one i got i will be taking good care of and im looking forward to seeing them grow side-by-side to see just whats up, and thanks for the heads up on the pie i have a decent scrubber so i hope its good enough....a little tapped so i dont have the coin to buy a new one at this time but im sure it can handle her....

peace bro:)

that kinda stff is what i need to learn i read ppl talking about just what you said above and to me its like alien talk, intakes out takes vent flaps air exchange possitive negative air pressure <<all that stuff means nothing to me......

Intakes are the fans that are bringing fresh air into the grow space.

Out takes would be the fans that are exhausting/venting out the air from the grow space.

Air exchange is simply the process of changing out the air in your space...out with the old in with the new. Example: if you have a space that is 10x10x10...that would give you 1000 cubic feet of space/air in your grow. If your using a 440CFM(cubic feet per minute) then it would roughly take you 2+ minutes to completely change out the air if there are no restrictions.

Positive pressure is when you have more intake air than out take air...causing a build up of pressure in the space.

Negative pressure is what your experiencing. Its when you have more out take/exhaust then you have intake air coming in...causing your tent walls to cave in

im very simple in wah i do over here i just know when i zip my tents up ALL 4 SIDES suck in about a foot which crushs all my plants on one side of the perimeter pots...

^that would be negative pressure causing the tent to suck in like that.

ive recently twisty tied some boards on the inside of my tents that helps alot and keeps the tent from crushing my plants......

I'm not the most experienced grower but I would be happy to go over some things and see if I could help out. PM me if you need to bro.

What Big C is saying here is that you could use an equal sized fan for both intake and exhaust...that way you will have an equal amount of air coming in and going out. Doing that won't create a negative or positive pressure in the space...it should be pretty neutral.

thanks brother!!....

humm let me see well i have NO FANS pushing air into my tents so i guess i got NO INTAKES THEN, through out the day i guess i do with the bottom of my tents are open but at night NODA bit unless you want to call the small bit of ait coming through the zippers and such HAHAHA.........

im in a 5X5 25SQ FOOT & a 4x4 16 squ foot....

i did at one time run a 6inch vent hose from my AC VENT right into my tent from the bottom flap and it blew up like a Finf balloon HAHA but i did not think that was a good thing so i took it down, also i thought it might be danegus seeing the every time the AC kicked off the tent would be sucked in so i just ditched that ideal..

peace:)

Holy shit!I have 2 6" HO's on the intake on dimmers and 2 8" ostbergs on the out on carbon filters W/ dimmers.I suck the panda film off my walls and with a couple quarter turns
i had to do the same thing a couple weeks ago. with no AC i hit 95 so i actually turned the light off till its next scheduled lights on. . thats few days its looked like its gonna rain.. gotta love this bay weather
Oh schnap!lmao.I will consider myself lucky then.

I build it to implode and back it off with a dimmer.better to oversize and plan for the worst than lose your ass over a hundred bucks.my .02

^Agreed...was just explaining what Big C was saying. Creating the the equal amount of pressure...

I haven't has trouble rooting cuts of alien#4. Actually has been one of tge request to root and maybe one of the most vigorous growing I've ever seen.

by equalizing the pressure within the tent its not allowing the air enough time to heat up, hence giving you temperature thats equal or close to ambient temps outside the tent. the device you were talking about is a fan speed controler. cost about 20$ and all you do is plug your fan into it and the controler into your power putlet. it has a dial you turn to control the speed. extremely simple. i would fore go that idea and add an intake fan equal to your exhaust fan. youll get much better air flow and i bet your plants will even grow better because of it.
