CHERRY PIE {DURBAN}

i do like this girl but shes runing kinda funny very straight up with loads of branching, im thinking when i toped her she really really slowed down almost to a stop....ive got one cut from her so far thats just now getting rooted in my 20oz cups but i wont be at all happy untill i can get maybe three well rooted and ready to roll.....will she be worth keeping around i do not know but were going to find out thats for-sure, this girl is going to meet some STARFIGHTER POLLEN in the next round "HEADSHOT" will be her name so i will have "HEADSHOT" and "BODY BLOW" from the COOKIES & THE PIE...

STARFIGHTER alien genetics!!

ok so where to start with these umm first off the only bad thing about these at this point is the fact that i only had 5 to work with, but im very very glad to have gottan these to bad my bro who i got them from seems to be missing in action so he cant see how there doing..

they were starting to really grow so i had to slow them down so i topped them all yesterday mainly because i got another five weeks before the will get there spot in flower...not getting any crazy smells from any of them yet but there some beautiful plants no dubting that fact from what i can see...

i think im going to BREED this one to the ALIENDAWG F4 i got going and have some "ALIEN STARFIGHTER" for my future growing...

I'm in for the aliendawg f4's.. I have an f3 female comming down in about ten days or so that is full of f4 beans.. I only landed one lady in the f3's I ran so I'm hoping to see all the colors of the rainbow at f4.. Good luck but it doesn't look like u will need it..

I've been lurking in the lab so I figured I'd post up. What kind of Durban you runnin?. This strain is hit or miss for me. I've got a denver durban s1 that I'm dying to pop.

sorry my brother i know nothing of the DURBAN other then a few years back i had some and traded them off BEFORE i knew what they were, AHH live and learn....the PIE i have is the DURBAN PHENO but other then that i dont really know anything...

on the ALIENDAWG Question im not sure to answer that one if its a totaly unknown ALIENDAWG i cant really compare to the ones i have going in any real knowledge....mine are not slow veggers at all there quite robust except for the two i showed above and as i stated they were self shaped with no help from me..

how was she growing before you FEMED her? any topping, feming, super, pinching will slow your plant but thats what most of us want besides lots of branching.....im just suggesting that all your FEMING has slowed her growth, or perhaps you have a REAL slow vegger and by FEM you really really slowed her down...

i just did some FEMING myself on some ALIENDAWG F4 while doing just a straight top tech on the STARFIGHTERS!!....

BANANA KUSH F8 making f9!!

this was/is a whole plant POLLENATION just so were clear..

do you see how some seeds are futher along then others and do you see that those seeds are the ones CLOSEST to the stalk/stem, the reason that is is exactly why i told you i like to do my POLLENATION in two parts once about 21days in while my buds are about the size of a finger nail and then about 8-10 days later....the first POLLENATION insures me that i get some VIABLE/USEABLE beanage at harvest time the SECOND POLLENATION insures me that i get a decent number of seeds for my time while NOT OVER POLLENATING the plant to where you get a shit load on UNVIABLE/UNUSEABLE seeds after harvest.....

dont ever beleive you CANT OVER POLLENATE you can and most ppl often do they just dont know it......

i took head on shots to show you what the older POLLENATED seeds look like compared to the earlyer POLLENATED ones which are lower on the buds....i hope this info and pics will help you get a fill for breeding and gets you headed in the right direction....

no im not getting any of that and i did not get any of that in the last round either, this round im just getting some to me smells again like SMAHED WET PENUTS that time i got the MOTHER of these seeds here that smelled like SMASHED WET PENUTS mixed with LIVER CHEESE im not getting the LIVER CHESSE smell on these this time but the PENUT smell is still intact...

im looking for that LAFFY TAFFY oder some ppl decribe getting with this strain but ive yet to smell that, maybe that smell comes with the BANANA OG and not the KUSH...

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. I think part of the AlienDawg's slow veg was due to me over watering. Once I realized it, I didn't water for a week and the plants didn't blink. They still seem to grow pretty slow, and almost no stretch. While all the other plants responded vertically to their FIM jobs, the AD responded horizontally, and slowly. It seems to be attaining a little vigor in the stretch. :)

If the 'Durban' means anything for the Pie you have, keep an eye on it. Yummy stuff.

I've never tried but have always been intriqued by this strain, what does the Banana Kush taste/smoke like? I've heard some mixed reviews, but most have been pretty good! As you continue to work the line J, what is your end goal with her? Taste, potency, yield, etc.......

One more thing Jaws....everything looks off the hook and so dialed but what I love best about your grows seriously is how you use recyclables. I never pictured seeing some of the Dankest strains on the planet being grown in two liter bottles. I know all about the reasoning with the deepness and all that so dont get me wrong because Im not knocking it at all. I just love seeing those Starfighters sitting in a soda bottle. Rock on Holmes!!!

I agree Jaws kills it and I am also a budget grower peeps need to realize it doesnt take a bunch of additives to grow fire buds... Keep it simple and they will do their thing!

Got a question jaws ive pollenated a few branches and got a pic of a seeded bud on the pre 98 bubba how do you know if the seeds are done?? This is my first time trying to make my own seeds so im just trying to make sure not to pull em too early... I pollinated @ about 15 days in and see seeds growing just dont know if I should let those plants go longer or pull in the normal 8-9 week window!
