ya im not happy at all i really like to dude i got my cuts from and the thing thats making me angry is the fact that he gave no open WARNING about these little SOB after he knew he had them, if he had i could have been fighting them all this time instead of scrathcing my head trying to figure out what was going on.....

can we get a breakdown of these things.. ive been hearing a lot about them and heard a certian place was dispensing cuts with them. can u see them? is the only way to tell the leaf damage?

ive had some random plants go hella wrong and look exactly like that, no clue why they got like that, i just throw em away but most plants still are perfect so if it was broad mites it didnt or hasnt spread. does neem work? azamax? or do you need something serious like avid or floramite?

sucks to be an organic grower at times like these.

you cant see them with the naked eye and i think you need like a 60x scope to actusualy see them, ive been told a combo of AVID & FORBID is the only know way at this time to get rid of them...i week spray with AVID next week spray with FORBID......and im guessing there is no spraying to be dome with budding plants so you just need to throw them away OUCHOUCHOUCH i hate the thought of doing that at this point......

you cant really tell you have them untill the the damage is done and once you see that its to late to spray IF your in flower..

what ive learned from this PREVENTION-PREVENTION-PREVENTION and i'll never bring a cut into my lab with out PREVENTION i will spray everything from now on....im not sure how this is going to turn out for me but im going to fight best i can..........so SLAU get some AVID my brother and get to it, hit everything NOT in flower and decide for yourself if you want to grow your budding plants or throw them away...

thank you mal and im doing great other wise i just harvested yesterday but now i know the mites were present in that grow so i know my yield will be affected, but i will push forward...

forbid works, but avid seems to be the most effective. floramite and many other treatments are ineffective against broadmites

soo my friend i think after ive been informed of this i know why my GSC has gottan such a bad rap from me, ive been thinking she was just very picking but shes most likly not she been getting eaten alive and i have stood by and done nothing for her....now im hoping i can get some AVID fast enough to save some of the cuts i have of her so i can try a grow of her minus the damn BROAD MITES, im not sure if thats going to be doable for me but i hope i get a shot at her again...

i looked into my closet area and im seeing some damage mainly on my CHERRY PIE and that makes me sick filling, and shit ive got some really good cuts in there that are in major trouble of getting infested...

ive been around for awhile now and have made MANY MANY great friends and ive been approched and have been offered sone AVID because i sure cant aford to buy any right now, so hopefully it gets here in time to save my babbies i have in the closet.......only time will tell............

this pic^^^^^ is the harliquin and shes been flowering for 62 days and vegg for like 4 nd she is about 20inchs tall, i thought she was just a small plant but now i know what the hold up on growing was/is...

ya but im a pretty decent human being so im NOT going around bashing the dude i got the cuts from he has always been great to me and i dont think he sent them to me KNOWING they had mites and like i was saying before HIM not givening the WARNING is whats got me a bit hot at him.....

im truely upset and fill like a piece of shit for sending MITE infested cuts to my friends and i could not just hide once i found out that i had done so i had to WARN my friends and hopfully they can get to them in time and not suffer to heavy of a loss......

these are some cuts i have rooting and the cut that im showing with the screwed up leaf was total fine just the other day.......umm so this shows that even while rooting an infected cut gos through hell just like a full size plant...these next three shots are of the GSC's im hoping to save now that i know why ive been having such a bitch of a time growing her out these last few months...

ya its been a mixed filling kinda couple days BUT i'll have something to fight back with here real soon......ohh YES SIR i really need to make sure i save one of these GSC cuts just so i can get a bug free grow with her to see if shes all i heard she is, be speaking badly of her as of late but if it was indeed the BROAD MITES causeing the problems then im looking forawrd to runing her again ASAP..

Damn homie I am SOOO sorry to hear about this. Fuck mites of any kind! When you get that avid, be sure to dip your plants and not just spray. The only time I've had mites in the last 3 years, I dipped all of them instead of spraying and boom. Mites were gone. I was even dipping 3 foot moms in a trash can lol. Good luck brotha!

the rust spotting is most likely from a calcium deficiency more than broad mites. The other damage could be the broad mites. Your veg looks good and should be alright. Most hydro stores sell a single ounce of Avid for about 20-25 bucks. Much better than the $700 quart, or whatever it is. And the dilution rate is 1ml per gal so an ounce is enough for sure. The biggest sign of broad mites is a heavy infestation in flower will produce buds with little to no pistils and little to no trichs.

whats a good product to bring some CAL into the the mix?...i use CAL-MAG and i dont usualy have these problems and thats why i was thinking maybe its the broad mites damage....ya i think my closet batch is still ok but i need to get them treat ASAP an i will as soon as the VID arrives in-hand.....once i get some cash im going to buy a bottle for a PREVENTION in the future....

humm the statement about have small buds and lack of TRICH coverage gives me much hope that I DONT have them all that bad, ahh i say that because the crop i just took down had very nice buts and ECTRA thick TRICH coverage......also im going to by some of those BEENIES that ppl been taking about from CAP but again i got to wait untill i get some cash.....

hello brother umm maybe you can answer my Question DIRECTLY can you treat plants that are in mid flower with the AVID?....i think i read some where yesterday that you could not but i read a ton and cant remember exactly what was said on that issue......

the big trash can idea would wotk but two of my flowering plants are bigger then my trash can and i think id just have to go with an extra heavy SPRAY DOWN like maybe a gallon of mixer just for those two plants....

Hey Jawzy,

Sorry to hear about this broad mite issue. Those litle buggers a biatch to deal with. I do Agree with spic though, the rust does look like a little cal/mag deficiancey. I get that same look on some specific strains i grow quite often. However, i can combat it with some mag and all new growth is once again great! You know for having those buggers, actually the plants looked quite well in the veg spot.

I bid you the best of luck getting rid of it though brother. You are a stand up guy for relaying the message to your peeps as fast as you did. A lot of people wouldnt do that. Mad respect for doing So.
