I forgot, I did have some crazy @$$ Fire OG shatter a few months back. Would love to try the flower if I can find it. That stuff made me hallucinate.
smith junks, so what strain would you say was the strongest you have had so far?
so far the best shatter iv had was indiana bubble gum.. i liked that strain.. j1 was nice too.. i think i like older strains maybe?
yeah, iv never got along with people with huge egos. my mellow personality dose not mix well with them type hha.
but i get it, if you young and dumb rock out with ya cock what the fuck.
when i can smoke as much as i like. my tolerance will be like yours, im sure.
but for now i make what i can get for 200.00 ( friend discount ) last a week usually. it will be nice when i can get as medicated as i need/want etc. soon!
i have a akorn, phantom cookies, and something else pushing day 57 i think.
the phantom cookies is fading fast, i need to check the shroom heads tonight.

I've mostly grown out of judging weed by how powerful the high is. When I was a kid I hunted for the most extreme stone but in my early twenties things changed when I got some import connections and started buying all these crazy strains. All of it was brickweed but it was far from that sh*tty Mexican brick with all the seeds. This stuff was sensi brick! Over the next few years I smoked strains that I'd never seen before and probably never will again. Somewhere during that time I changed from a stoner to a connoisseur and started enjoying the subtle complexities of each new strain. That's when I first started inviting people to join me and become more than potheads. We (my first wife and I) would go out on Fri & Sat mornings and nights to Capitol Garage Coffee Shop in Downtown Sacramento and invite people from the Garage to join us in these huge weed tasting circles across the street at Capitol Park. When everyone was good and baked from the new strain of the week, they'd come in a herd to my apt. and buy out all my herb. I started calling it "Capital" Park after that. I was bringing in enough money that my connects were constantly looking for new strains for me. They never told me what the names of the strains were but it was always top shelf. I loved those tropical sativas and have been hooked by the complexities of their high ever since.
i love the trippy part of the high. i look forward to trying sativas. but for now the sativas iv tried were similar to indica.. so for now i say everything hits me like a good indica as of now. however, i look forward to finding that trippy happy high sativa.
iv yet to have a weed make me feel happy. besides feeling no pain etc.. but you know no anti depressant weed so far.
but this og hits real nice.

i do not read up on what is suppose to be better or what not. so when you said tahoe was mid shelf smoke i was surprised. it was the first time since getting shatter that i even thought about putting weed in a hierarchy structure like such.. to me it was either i like it, or it sucks., and good, and really good. which is how my mind will probably always think of smoke that way. i just took a dab a second ago so my mind is all over the place.

Thcv doesn't enhance Thca, it inhibits and moderates it.. basically meaning you can't get as high off your thca when there is a notable percentage of thcv. Doesnt mean they dont work synergistically, just meaning you dont get as "stoned". Just getting that info out there. Plus no offense, but Tahoe Og grown well is a great high and strain overall. Definitely lower top shelf than higher mids... my .02 on that subjectYou should start with Durban Poison or Tangie, then work your way down through their offspring till you find something that suits your needs. Girl Scout Cookies and Dosido are Durban babies, and the Forbidden Fruit I'm lovin right now is a Tangie baby. Gorilla Glue #4 and TrainWreck are also strong on the sativa side, and common as well.
I'm not knocking Tahoe at all. The only reason I found this out was because I was researching strains to grow trees and Tahoe OG is a strain that can do it. I was told it was upper-mids by a guy that was growing them so obviously he had no problem with it.
Like I said earlier, the complexity of the strain's THC compounds are of far more interest to me, ie, Durban Poison doesnt usually have a particularly strong THC level but what it generally does have is extremely high THCv. THCv enhances THC's potency, and as a bonus, it's a munchi inhibitor.

Lol just playing, but it is what I did this year ,(kept all the tops) blasted the rest. Got around or over a lb of oil out of it. Next year I am going to do the same, here in OR it's not exactly the best place to grow quality outdoor lol
