Still not flowering here either. Starting to lose hope on being able to finish the 1 in the ground. The 1 in a pot can go back in the greenhouse which will give me a little more time, but even if she started flowering today it would be cutting it close. It all depends on mother nature and we all know what a bitch she can be. Found a friend on 1 of them.

It'll be a shame to not get that big one to finish. But yup she can be fickle.

19 weeks. Still no flowers. I did up her bag to 20 gal. Risky, I know. But did it very gingerly without much root disturbance.

Jade says the reason some of these strains flowers so late is because some of them come from close to the equator where it is almost always 12–12 or thereabouts! So they won’t flower at 13 1/2. They will wait till they are close to 12. Because they have never known the long hours of light that we get. FWIW! Looks healthy. I have a feeling Nepal isn’t real close to the equator, but don’t know for sure! Looks like Kathmandu is pretty close to Miami light wise!

Yup. Depending on which location he collected the seed I got it could be from 23 to 28 or so N. Pretty much directly on the Tropic of Cancer. Naturally they are closer to 12/12 or there abouts. When I looked up the lat and long and the sun program I use those from the Terai (Nepal) in June have about 14 hours. Those closer to the Tripura (India) have just 13.

Angus mentioned to me that they are a slow to flower bunch. And they are proving that out. I don't know if @orggrwr's has started or not. He's in Central Va. so perhaps they haven't yet either.

Nope, not yet. I've pretty much given up on getting any finished bud from them. I'll keep them going as long as I can but even if they started flowering today they wouldn't finish until Christmas, way too late for this neck of the woods. They make pretty ornamentals though.

Yup, this year is my get to know ya year. I have a better idea on how to handle them for next year or the year after. I may do all heirloom Latins next year along with CBD plants. If there is a next year.

Yeah I've been pretty busy the last couple of weeks. My mom with alzhiemers lives with us and she fell and busted her knee pretty good. But she's back home now doing better. The good thing about alzhiemers is she doesn't even remember being in the hospital. Just kidding, not a damn thing good about alzhiemers. Back to normal now and planning to harvest one of my Cretans today.

I know where you’re coming from! My mom spent her last few years in a trailer here suffering from wicked Alzheimer’s! Probably the worst two or three years of my life! Lol! If I never hear another baby monitor, it will be too soon!

That’s what I originally thought when I brought her up! But she got bad! Good thing she died when she did because I would be in the penitentiary now for murder! A trip to the dentist to get some teeth, pulled started the ball rolling towards her demise! If I had known a dentist was gonna finish her off, I’d have taken her a year earlier!

My wife’s mom and her sister both had Alzheimer’s. My brothers wife has it too. My wife said she couldn’t live if she gets it. I told her I’d run her over when we got out of the drs office, wasn’t very amused.

I never knew mine so I look at it from another angle. But I get it and with that disease at some point they aren't who they were. I'm of the heart and mind that what came from earth so should go to earth. Tie my ass to a tree out back and let momma nature do her thing. We have vultures and dead things everywhere, no one would know a thing.
